“In my quest to experience as many great sushi places in Cali as I can, Kobe Sushi ranks right up there at the top. What attracted me to this restaurant was one reviewers comment about it being a "well kept secret". I agree! The atmosphere was mellow, clean and open. The service was quick and friendly also. The sushi was excellent! I had the Black Pepper Tuna roll which I would suggest trying. The prices were on par with other sushi places. They also have a variety of other dishes that looked great.”

“Delicious authentic bibimbap and tofu soup! 🤤 Everything we and our friends ordered were delicious! Here’s what we ordered: Soon tofu and hot stone bibimbap (Menu No. 11) - it was enough for two of us and an appetizer Japchae (Menu No. 26). Highly recommend those if you are a couple that want to share. The combo quantity is half of the main dish but almost 2/3 quantity. The combo is really worth it if you want to try the best dishes for less money but more food! Our friends ordered also Korean noodles, short rib pork, and other chicken and beef dishes. They all loved it, and they were so flavorful and delicious. 真好吃!”

“A very clean and professional store. I love the mural, and the service was always very fast and kind. There was a older hipster vibe with a lot of people working on laptops. The store has a chill phrontistery feel. I have been here a few times, and it was always consistently good.”

“Don't let the exterior fool you! It is really good! The owners are super sweet and hard working! My Husband likes it SUPER spicy so call ahead for a more homemade meal i.e. Vindaloo ♡ some dishes need more time to prepare. But if you want the usuals (popular) dishes that are mild or just want to try Indian for the first time, they have them ready and can help you decide. Their naan is AWESOME too!! My faves are the chicken curry, tandoori and Korma👌🏼❤”

“The portions of veg/lo mein, 2 entree were way off. I received mostly huge pieces of vegetables, half portion of shrimp and it was covered in the beef entree and lo mein. Just very sloppy serving.”

“Food is delicious. They serve beer too. It does get super busy during lunch time though. Plenty of tables to eat inside. Parking is decent, I've never had a problem with that. Service is quick and everyone is super friendly.”

“Was told the fries were good here. That was so right! Loved that all our food arrived to the table hot - including the basket of fries. Service was very efficient with server visiting at least twice after food arrived. Having dropped in on a Saturday night the wait wasn’t too long despite there being at least 5 parties ahead of us. My only minor complaint was the breaded chicken was a bit over cooked resulting in a dryer chicken sandwich, but other burgers were accurate in terms of doneness. Super impressed and would return in the future. Oh one other note - the straws smell and seemed to have made my drink taste different- anyone experience this too??”

“My bf and I have been searching for a good Thai food spot since moving out to HB. We're big Thai food fanatics, honestly if we find the right place we'd probably be dining there once a week. I'm seriously addicted! So I'm happy to say that my experience at Mai Thai Restaurant did not disappoint! My bf and I dined here yesterday for the first time. They weren't too busy for it being a Sunday afternoon, which was nice. It looked like there was only one server working anyways so it's a good thing they weren't packed. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall that has ample parking so that won't be an issue. The restaurant does look super dark from the outside, honestly I was questioning if they were even open when we arrived. But don't be put off by their tinted windows and the barely noticeable open sign flashing. They're open! When we walked in they had a sign in the front advising customers to wait to be seated. Make sure you wait! There was a customer that tried seating himself after us and they made him go back and wait in line. So take the signs seriously. We were seated less then a few minutes from walking in though so there basically was no wait. The restaurant has a very dark vibe to it, kind of matches the way it looks from the outside. The black upholstered seats, mirrored walls and dim lighting makes me think it used to be a hookah lounge or something of the sort. I liked it though! Very different. The food is obviously the main point of this review so I'll move on to it. We ordered the following: Cheese wonton ($8.75), Thai fried rice ($12.75), Pad Thai ($13.75), Panang Curry ($13.75) and a large Thai tea to drink ($6). I'm actually not sure if we got the Crab rangoon or the cheese wonton. I know my bf ordered the Crab rangoon but when it was brought out to us it looked like the only filling was cream cheese so I'm assuming we got the cheese wontons instead. Either that or their filling has very little crab in it. Also, the sweet and sour sauce that came with it was a little watered down and thin. That would be my only complaint. Other than that everything else was delicious! The fried rice was cooked perfectly, Pad Thai had just the right amount of fish sauce in it so it didn't taste too fishy like some other places we've tried. The Panang was piping hot and tasty! Very spicy but we asked for medium so thats definitely what we got! Their Thai tea is amazing too - the right ratio of tea to cream so it wasn't too sweet or tea-like. The wait time for everything was pretty good too. From the time we were seated and ordered to the time our food arrived was probably in the span of maybe 10-15 minutes. Not bad. I'll definitely be coming back here in the future! I'm happy to have found a good Thai spot in the OC.”

“This is one of the best sandwich places in Orange county for sure! Everything was delicious. I got the backstabber on a French roll and it was very tasty. The artichoke hearts were a bit tangy but matches pretty well with the Caesar dressing. Service was also wonderful, everyone here was really nice.”

“If you are looking for a good hangout spot with friends for good food and beer, this is the place to go. This is a Japanese izakaya-style restaurant, where you can order small plates of delicious dishes and share them with your group. The menu has a variety of options, from sushi and sashimi to grilled meats and vegetables. The unagi (eel) is my favorite, it is so tender and flavorful. The beer selection is also great, they have draft and bottled beers from Japan and other countries. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and cozy. You can sit at the bar or at a table, and enjoy the music and the conversation. This is a great place to have a fun and satisfying meal with your friends. I highly recommend it!”

“Of the various hole in the walls, this restaurant specializes in what's in the title, Banh Khot. The Bánh Khot was crispy and delicious. It definitely was crowded and the food came out fairly fast. Will come again to try the other dishes and hopefully get a table pretty quickly.”

“Excellent restaurant with excellent customer service. The gentleman who greeted us was absolutely the most attentive host I've encountered in a while. Down to the pita bread. So fresh and warm when it arrived. Got both ground and kebab lamb, ground and kebab chicken and ribeye kebab. Everything was delicious but the chicken kebab was the most perfectly marinated and juiciest I've ever had. HIGHLY recommend!”

“The Chop Stop is a great alternative for lunch. Their salads are made fresh to order. You can order one straight from their menu or custom make one to your preference. I have tried almost all the salads from the menu and every one was really good. What's nice is they also have soup, which was exactly what I wanted with the recent cold rainy days.”

“This was a blast to the past!! I remember my parent taking us to Naugles as kids … way better then the other. Enjoyed this with the family today and was not disappointed! Had the classics like taco salad cup, tostadas, and tacos and all was a win especially with the red and green sauce. Big win for that whole family”

“As a professional commercial flatbed driver... 🚛 It's always nice to find a variety of food options... 😎 My eldest daughter was able to join me for a week from Las Vegas, through California to Washington and back...🤙 Most times I prepare my food in advance... ...this trip was an exception 😉”

“One of the important things that help me rate the restaurant is the restroom, I can tell they are taking care of it to an extent for a fast food restaurant. Staff is very good and helpful, at least the girl that helped us. Enjoy your pizza!!”
