“April is fantastic! I was visiting my mom, and she had the idea to take my daughter and I to get our hair done. April is easy to talk to, did great with my daughter, and the hair coloring experience was fantastic. I have really dark hair (almost black) and she was able to lighten it enough that I could do that fun silvery grey look. My hair came out soft, and not at all crispy or feeling damaged. If you are looking for fun colors, she can do it!”

“I went to the chocolate festival in Oakdale ca today and there was a Fookie booth set up. I just lost my Mother and wanted to get fudge because that is one of the things my mother and I used to love getting together. They had lots of delicious looking fudge/ bar cookies and I had asked “do you have regular fudge?” I preceded to tell them that my mom just died and I wanted to get fudge because it reminds me of her. The man took a whole container of chocolate walnut fudge and put it in a bag and said “here it’s yours” he literally gave it to me for free. It’s very rare to find good people and it really made my day. It is delicious also!!! I’m loving it! I will definitely be back!”

“I love this school! We have been with John Adams Academy for 4 years now and it has been more than I hoped for! The teachers are kind and caring and the administration is professional and also extremely caring. We have a 504 plan for one of my daughters and we've had difficult challenges to overcome. We worked like a team with the staff and they have gone over and above to accommodate our family and the needs of our daughter. One of the teachers even came to a training with our behavioral therapist during the summer on her own time to better understand our daughter and help her. Mallory puts so much hard work into making sure the children get the best education and also all the love from the teachers she hires. Every time I drop off or pick up all the kids are so happy and ready to explore and are so inviting and loving with one another because of the example made by the incredibly loving teachers. Guiding Stars is the BEST school out the for toddlers and babies as well. I have researched, toured, and tried out many local day cares/schools and Guiding Stars Academy is the best!”

The whole experience was different, this is because of the staff. They listened to him, they made him feel safe, they cared.
