Sierra Soapstone

I grew up with soapstone in our kitchen on the East Coast. Over 14 years ago we put it in our kitchen (and a farmhouse sink) before most people even knew what it was. It's fantastic. Looks beautiful. We are building our outdoor pizza oven, smoker, BBQ area and soapstone was the go to for our counter. We went to Sierra and the customer service we received was amazing. Rosemary and Kendra were so great to work with, I can't say enough great things about them, the company, the product.

The entire team is just awesome! They were more than helpful and patient with my entire project from concept to install. I would absolutely do business with them again.

Great company. They fabricated me a 42 inch round table top made of quartz. They were willing and able to do any size job. Rosemary and her team were excellent to work with. I would highly recommend them for any of your stone fabrication needs.

Sierra Soapstone is the best! I would highly recommend them! My countertops turned out beautiful, exactly what I wanted! I Love them!! Rosemary, Ben and Nick were all wonderful to work with and they met the timeline we scheduled, to the day! They were very clear with everything I needed to do before the template and install and allowed me to make several changes before signing the contract. There were no hidden fees or unexpected cost. The price was the price! They made it all really easy.

I only gave 4 stars for this reason:

The day of the install I made sure (per the instructions I was given) that I had all the sink parts necessary, so they could make sure everything fit properly. I asked several times, while the installers were there, if they wanted to look at the sink parts (faucet, dishwasher air gap, drain flange), but each time they said no. The next, day my handyman came to install the sink parts only to discover the drain hole that the installers cut out was too small for the flange. I immediately called Sierra Soapstone to let them know the problem and was told no one could come that day to fix it, but I could sand the whole bigger myself, for an immediate fix, because that's what they would do. So that's what my handyman did, for an hour, that I had to pay him for, when I had already paid for the sink to be built properly. Needless to say, I was a little annoyed. The situation could have been avoided had they made sure all the parts fit before they left, like I offered.

In the end, everything was put back together properly and I would still highly recommend them, but I would insist they make sure everything fits properly before they leave.

I needed to replace my laminate counter tops that had strips peeling up but I'm sure that I'm selling my house in three years and moving out of the area. I received a bid from another company but was then referred to Sierra Soapstone. Rosemary was fantastic. The skilled workers were fantastic. They came one day, tore out my old counter tops, made a template of my space, then they came back a couple of weeks later to install the new counter tops. When I was searching for the right slab, Rosemary directed me to a specific section of Arizona tile where I could buy discounted single slabs since my kitchen was small. I found a slab that I liked but it was too small. Rosemary called them and they found the same material slab in a bigger piece for only pennies more. Everyone was very helpful, very courteous, highly skilled--now I'm not sure that I want to move in three years. My kitchen is beautiful. I enthusiastically recommend Sierra Soapstone without any hesitation at all.
