River Ranch Lodge & Restaurant

This was really an awesome place. Clean rooms, great food, patio with river view, classy rooms, and right across the street from bus stop. Management was even willing to negotiate on price. Top places to stay around the US.

The total meal was great. The salad you see was $11. and not at all what shows on line?
The bar was noisy and as the manager explained, this is my normal. The waiter was good and over worked but How old is cool. They comped us for the salad and two drinks. Yes we would go back again.

Lovely meal at the restaurant. Burger was excellent with a huge pile of hot crisp fries. Scallops on risotto were perfectly cooked. Bison ribs slow cooked 8 hours were good. The bolognaise was a large serving of deliciousness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mid-week happy hour here. Phenomenal service, tasty food, and sitting next to the window overlooking the Truckee River at 4 pm (still light enough to watch) was to-die-for! We also stayed at the lodge...great off-season rates, super friendly front office, and nice old-school charm. We'll be back next November (after confirming the weather forecast is good).
