We came here for a day hike by the creek. It was super nice. Lots of mature oak trees. Running creek water was soothing, cold, and relaxing to hike along.
Great campsites. Clean. Bathrooms. Parking. A only a few campers midweek.
The ridge loop was a great hike. I was a bit surprised at the $10 park entry fee.
Attended the Bar B Que cook off.
Wonderful food vendors (10+). MY favorite was Coronado Catering bbq.
Lots of people. GREAT Band called The Tribe performed the whole event
It was a very peaceful Sunday afternoon nice and sunny day. Spent it along with my parents and my 8 year old boy. Did some trail hiking and also checked out the playground. Also sat around the pond on one of the picnic benches and had some munchies. A few hours of fun and relaxation.
Great campground. I little tight for our 30 foot trailer, I wouldn't recommended this place for large trailers or class A's. We managed to fit though and this place was amazing. Super quite at night, with almost no one around. Lots of wild animals including deer and bobcats. Security drives through, a little too fast for a campground. They have a dump station , though it is the kind where you have to block the road to use it.
