Update: Many weeks after the original repair, it was discovered that the new part that AAMCO had installed was defective. It was a big, expensive job to begin with... And a lesser company might have balked at the expense and effort required to completely re-engineer the original repair. But not these guys! They installed a second, brand new front seal with all the trimmings without any foot-dragging or whining... And they didn't ask me for another dime. They absolutely stood by their workmanship and parts guarantee and I couldn't be more impressed or grateful.
