I found a listing for one of Lona's beautiful custom costumes last year when searching for a solo costume for my daughter. Sent message to Lona and heard back within minutes!! Lona's costumes are beautifully made, designed with every detail in mind. Lona communicates frequently with her customers throughout the entire process from design, to material choices, and creation. Lona completes a virtual fitting to ensure the best fit of the costume before final details are placed!! I only positive things to say not one thing negative!! We actually reserved a spot for our 2022 solo costume before we had received our finished 2021 costume!!! Which is amazing!!

There are not enough positive things that I can say about Lona!
From the very beginning, she was professional and diligent, and committed to giving me exactly what I wanted. She listened, (even watched a video of my daughter's solo!), and clearly communicated her thoughts and actions every single step of the way. She updated me, daily, throughout the process and surprisingly, completed my daughter's costume in approximately a week's time. It was clear from the beginning that this is a woman with a passion.
I shop online frequently and never have I ever experienced anything that remotely resembles this.
I haven't even mentioned the beauty and quality of the costume! Breathtaking in both person and on stage, my daughter Gigi, received so many compliments throughout her competition season. Every judge had something to say about her costume. Five months later, it now looks exactly as it did when it arrived-not a single jewel out of place. Lona even thought of adding adjustments to accommodate my daughter's possible growth!
Next stop is Vegas, and I can honestly say that I will be sad to retire this costume. The good news...I will never have anyone else make a costume for my daughter but Lona and I am excited to work with her again.

My daughter and I had a very positive experience working with Lona. She took my daughter’s vision and was able to create a perfect solo costume for her. From the very first contact, she was attentive, helpful, patient (my daughter is not an easy client!) and put our minds at ease as we had past experiences with seamstresses that were not positive. Lona is conscientious, easy to talk with, and ready to answer any question at any time—generally right away as I was very pleasantly surprised to learn. I don’t think she sleeps:) She is professional—she supplied a line item invoice, completed the costume as well as alterations before the date promised, and she sent a very detailed letter with fabric and care information. The costume was beautifully and expertly sewn with every attention to important details my daughter requested. She truly thought of every detail. The sweet ballerina included with the costume did not go unnoticed. We feel very lucky to have found her and look forward to working with her again in the future. I have honestly never met another seamstress like her. You cannot go wrong trusting her with your project. Thank you, Lona!

Lona is the best at custom costumes. My daughter was super picky with her solo costume.. We came to Lona with all of her ideas and she made exactly what my daughter wanted. It was bright , sassy and it sparkled from every angle. She received tons of compliments at competitions on it. The best part was the confidence my daughter had in it while she danced. Your costume is a big part of your routine, you have to be comfortable in what your wearing to really make that song/dance be amazing ! We dont go anywhere else for custom costumes.
