This station has produced many a hero, and one is forever in our hearts, Bruce Visser, a born and bred local Fire Fighter of the highest order. A beautiful and simple memorial is at this station. Read the memorial statement and poetry of life and death, and the attitude of those who fight the fires created by both man and nature. This little historic station is past station 53, nestled slightly up Morris Ranch Road, to the right. Get the feel, the contact high, and wander softly the grounds of this station. Listen to the sound of the wind in the tree tops, and take special note of the wild wash.”
