Albertos Mexican Food

Still and always the BEST taquitos! Most other Alberto's is changed their menu but this Albertos and the one on Hot Springs Road are like they were back in the day! 😀

Carne asada burrito was very salty when we ordered it. We arrived around 12pm noon and to our surprise unfortunately the high school let out early that day and it was jam packed in there, so much that we kinda rushed to order our food just to leave although we were hungry. The fries were good and reminded me of food truck fires and was seasoned perfectly.

I've been an Albertos customer since 1985. Things have certainly changed! One thing that I'm sad about is the guacamole is never as good as it was... Used to be a must, now is an avoid for me. (Seems to be universal - regardless of restaurant)

Today we went to this location ordered the new quesobirria tacos, mini tacos and a beef flying saucer. All were amazing and didn't disappoint.

Also the place was very clean!

The only drawbacks were the cashiers were not as welcoming as they could be and the dining area felt cramped/awkward. I had to ask for each condiment separately... When asking for silverware, they gave me one at a time. The chairs are bolted to the floor so it wasn't comfortable eating in.

However, it got the job done and I enjoyed the food which was outstanding: That's what's most important!

I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews. Prompt service, clean and very good! Open 24 hours!!! Large burritos!! Carne asada was so good!!!
