“We went to Calhoun's Texas barbecue in Murrieta. We ordered a slab of spareribs, a pound of beef brisket, a side of coleslaw, and a side of beans. Both the beans and coleslaw were delicious. A definite 10/10. Their barbecue sauce was also a 10 out of 10. The brisket was served chopped up and didn't have enough fat in it, so it was a little dry and a little bland, but it was still very tender and good. We give it a 7.5/10. Now lets talk about the spareribs. When you order a slab of ribs, they give you a "full" slab of ribs, the container was filled to the brim. The ribs were so tender, juicy, and fall off the bone. They just didn't have any seasoning. We give them a 8.5/10. We give Calhoun's an overall score of an 8 out of 10, and would definitely go back again.”
