  Searching for a friendly and well maintained facility where my mom can stay and have 24 hours care, I found Golden Girls in Murrieta California. I went to see the house and meet the staff and owner. I must say that I was impressed by the staff's friendliness; the house is well maintained and equipped, and it is a good location. I felt like i was visiting a family member's house not a nursing or retirement home. I will definitely bring my mom to Golden Girls.

  My beloved Aunt Jane, who is 90 years old, lived in a nursing home in the Chicago area for 18 months prior to becoming a Golden Girl resident, where she paid over $11,000, shared a room in a hospital-type environment, was bathed only twice a week, left to wait for an aid to assist her in the bathroom until she could no long control her bladder, and neglected in other hygiene areas. She received subpar treatment at an astronomical cost.
  
  My entire family has been blessed to find her forever home! The house is always immaculately clean, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is tailored to each resident's needs and tastes, and the caring staff treats her (and us) like family. It would be impossible to find a better assisted living residence for her. She is engaged on a daily basis and her health has improved in the short time she has been there! I would be fortunate to transition my 88 year old mother in the same care. I cannot truly express how moved I am every time we visit Aunt Jane. I am confident she is in very good hands. THIS is what elder care should look like.
