Silverado Hospice Coastal Valleys

I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for Silverado Hospice. My dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2020 at 49 years old and when it came time to have hospice services, my family was recommended Silverado by Scripps. The nurse my parents had interviewed was the one. Right off the bat my pops knew she was the right one for him. But it wasn’t even for just him. Throughout the entire process Audrey was standing tall and kept us all in a positive mind. The sleepless nights I had while taking care of my dad were accompanied by her through all hours, just to give me conversation and have open ears for what I had to say. My dad, and my entire family were in the right hands. No matter the hour of the night, if I sent her a text she’d come to the house to assist with whatever we needed or just be there as extra help on Stand by. It was great to know that we had someone to rely on and that did everything with smile on her face. Over a year later we still communicate with her and have developed a bond with her through the short experience we had. The amount of compassion shown made the entire experience that should have been hell, a bit easier.
As for the preparedness of the company as a whole, anything we needed we got at a moments notice. Prescriptions were conveniently delivered to the house 24 hours a day and when medical equipment was needed it was provided.
Without Silverado, I’m not sure how my family would have made it possible.
So thank you Silverado hospice, and thank you Audrey!

I had my mom on Silverado Hospice and she wasn’t an easy patient for them or myself.They worked with her to become more open ,RN Audrey could even get her to talk about TV shows and her makeup ( and her makeup was very important to her).
I’m thankful I had there assistance through the milestone in my life.

Our family had the pleasure of having Silverado Hospice Coastal Valleys care for my father during his final stages of life. Silverado Hospice staff was caring, professional and understanding. His nurse Audrey was truly an angel. My father enjoyed how she cared for him, which says a lot as he was very particular of his nurse's. During the last days of my father's life Audrey was by his side making sure he was comfortable and not in any pain she gave our family unconditional love and support during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the staff & especially his nurse Audrey. I highly recommend Silverado for your hospice needs. Thank you again for caring for my father.
