“I realize it's dinner time, but more attention is needed in making sure the meals are complete before giving to customers. I was not given orange chicken in my entree. Had to come back and get it. Then I had to ask for the teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken. Which made me forget about the sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls. I started to walk away and realized I didn't have a drink either. I ordered the Panda meal bundle but was charged for a Bigger Plate. Then paying again for the drink. Not very happy with service here. Thankfully the food was hot fresh and delicious!!”

“So their food is always awesome and they prep it fast so you're in and out quickly, never more than like 7 mins max. Inside is very small so wouldn't recommend dine in but essentially you can if you'd like to. Always clean and tidy too, never crowded either, plenty of parking, easy access, etc. They also can have it ready if you call ahead of time but again wait times not an issue here. The staff is young and friendly, no issues there. The ONLY critique I could give here is they never give enough hot sauce even when asking for extra. They need bigger packets for it, haha. But all you gotta do is ask and they'll help you out. They do ask you to wear a mask before entering via the sign on door but not while you eat if someone happens to dine in. Love this spot, love their food, and great friendly workers get the job done quickly. Highly recommend!”

“This restaurant catered my grandmother’s 70th birthday & everyone enjoyed the food. I decided to stop by recently on my way home after rotation one evening to surprise my husband & kids with some delicious dinner. I cannot put into words the heaven that is RD’s calzone. When I picked up my order, (the calzone, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken parmesan, and fettuccini Alfredo), the hostess showed me all of my items to make sure they were correct. When I saw that calzone I had butterflies in my stomach like I was on a first date. I was able to get the food to the car but it all ended there. I HAD to try that calzone before heading home. And boy can I still remember the euphoria after that first bite. I begrudgingly returned the calzone to its box so I could drive home. On the way home I cast several longing glances to the passenger seat where that glorious calzone was placed…my family adored their food and I’ll be back many times to be sure!!!”

“Not feeling good today, and all I wanted was a really good sandwich. Mission accomplished. We recently moved to Hemet and have yet to find favorites when it comes to food establishments, Downtown Deli definitely made my list. I ordered the Turkey BLT Avocado and Cheese with a side of potato salad, my daughter ordered a classic BLT with Avocado. The total was almost $40, so I was a little shocked at that and thought, this sandwich better be worth it. It was!! It was about a 15 minute wait before our order was ready and we were on our way home. I was actually really excited to open up the takeout box and get a look at this sandwich. Let me tell you, the sandwiches are HUGE! The first bite was full of just absolutely great flavor, honestly the BEST sandwich I've ever had!! The blend of salt, pepper, and oregano mixed with the avocado and fresh produce was just so freaking good. The potato salad was almost as good as my mamas and that says ALOT! It was just really so good. I thought 15 minutes was a long wait, but now I get it. These sandwiches are made with love and pride and you can taste it. During those 15 minutes I took some time to learn about the owner of the Deli, Stephen. I had to hold back tears after learning about how involved he was with his community and how loved he was by the community. He passed in 2019 and I'm just really happy that his legacy is being carried on. He would be so proud of the great job you are all doing at Downtown Deli, such a welcoming atmosphere, built with love for sure. I highly, highly recommend Downtown Deli.”

I can honestly say that this pizza place may not be the most appealing aesthetically, but the quality of the food really offsets the aesthetics here. I get it there has been times that the orders take a bit longer than I would like, but with the very limited staff they have available they try their best. I must say in the past they have had a few hires that I would have avoided, but ownership noticed it and fixed the problem they had quickly as they are smart owners. Now what really keeps me going back at least twice a month is the food being amazing and the owners. The owners are amazing and very humble and honest people. I know the pandemic really was hard on many mom and pop pizza places, but I am glad this one made it through. I hope they can continue to serve our area and hopefully grow because they both deserve it! Matter of a fact I am ordering pizza tonight!”

“We were very likely the youngest group in this bar but we had a great time. We found about the Wednesday Taco special ($1.25 tacos what a deal!) so we decided to go. We had our expectations pretty low so we enjoyed the tacos a lot! Very much so like my white parents made me for dinner when I was younger. They also had some tostadas that were 99¢ that may have been better than tacos actually. Just a heads up, there’s one taco option, and one taco option only: beef. Drinks were reasonably priced. The “dive” bar feel is a fun vibe. Have not tried sitting inside yet… it’s a little too dark, and red, for our liking lol Give this place a chance! 11/15 Update: Finally got to try the Sire on a day other than Wednesday and thought the meatloaf and Southwest egg rolls were amazing.
