I was having difficulty breathing, I called down to speak to a RN and Linda was here in less than ten minutes. She called my Doctor and he said I needed to get to an emergency room. Linda called the front desk and Caleb our activities director drove me to Rex Emergency room within five minutes. The staff at Whitaker Glen could not have been any more understanding, proficient or kind. I was amazed when I returned with how many letters and cards were left for me. The kindness of the residents touched my heart. Whitaker Glen is a great place to call your home.

The down town location is very important to me. I was very fearful to be tucked away in “a place for mom” located beyond all belt lines. Instead I am within a 10 minute walk of five points. I am close to Cameron village, and not far from downtown museums restaurants, universities,churches, and volunteer opportunities. The Whitaker Glen staff is great, we have a small and welcoming community come and join us.
