  We are very impressed with the quality and safety La Petite Academy of Durham provides since daycares have opened back up. Ms Renee greets us at the door each morning with a smile and welcoming arms. After a few mornings of apprehension our 2 yr old son now runs right in after his temperature check ready to paint, read and have tons of fun. We love seeing what he is eating and what is happening through the day with the brightwheel app and love the pictures/videos which are posted each day. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place, we highly recommend La Petite Academy!

  I love this place and their staff. They have helped me off the streets and into a place all before my babys born. (Results may vary) But if you want help they WILL help you.

  I love this place! They offer a free place to go..hang out..take showers..do your laundry..ECT. They provide free coffee, Top Ramen & oatmeal.
  They offer counseling & wellness classes/groups. And other various activities!
  The staff are friendly & caring.
  A TRUE BLESSING FOR THOSE IN NEED!??

  The program orientation only took no more than two hours met with intake worker to get paperwork for mental health services and choose the classes,groups also for any housing assistance that I might need to help with the SSHH Program that I am in and signed up for a lot more assistance they're offering to the homeless population and before leaving the employee's were very polite plus I was told that the intake case mentor would be in contact with in the next few days to set up appointment for the mental health services and I was able to attend the classes/groups they offer at anytime I wanted before I could get back to the SSHH House I received the phone call to set up second intake mentor she was able to get me in the following week to start the process. I went to the appointment and I was going to go to a class before I met with her and was really satisfied with the class and I was wanting it to be longer than it was and I was still early before my appointment so I joined another class till the meeting was happy with that class as well and I met with her and she was very good with me about everything and it was so easy plus she was so polite,understand also made me feel like I was going to get the right help as well as the proper diagnosis for my mental health issues not like any of the other doctors and or hospitals I have been seen at for my issues.

  So thankful for La Petite and the staff! The location is perfect as it’s close to our home. The hours fit our family’s schedule so we don’t have to rush to pick up our little one! The entire staff is friendly, loving and professional! The director and all of the teachers feel like family! The care and attention that they give our child and the all of the children gives our family the assurance we need to know our child is in the BEST care! I LOVE how the center sends us pictures of our child throughout the day so we can see what’s going on! The daily schedule updates are helpful! Looking for the BEST childcare in Durham, La Petite Academy is IT!

  I'm thankful and grateful to have found such a safe, caring and wonderful daycare where my infant daughter is treated as seen as one of theirs and I love the constantly updated Brightwheel app notification on how she is doing. The Director Renee is very sharp and caring and always reminds me of the important events and concerns that she notices and Teacher Amber is absolutely amazing and my daughter loves being with her. We looked at a bunch of places all throughout Durham and this La Petite was the only place where everyone cared and was extra clean and transparent.

  We moved from NYC and our 5 year old attended the Pre-K program. The transition was made very easily and the teachers and directors are very warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable leaving my daughter there and she loved her teachers so much. They even invited her to attend graduation even after she left the last month of school due to our move out of the county. She was so happy to be back with her friends.
