The facility was clean.The Staff was excellent as well as the nurse's .They take excellent care of the patients. They are always being up bit and positive.I would recommend Woodside Healthcare Center.I would definitelygo back.
The staff at Woodside Healthcare Center, was very helpful in my speedy recovery.
I arrived there in a ambulance . On a gurney. I graduated to a wheelchair. Then with the different exercises and walking with the staff. I graduated to a walker.
And now I am walking with a Cain. Sometimes no Cain just on my own walking.
I could not have done it without the assistance of the staff at Woodside Healthcare Center!
All the staff are wonderful and pleasant people!
My 81 year old father has been in and out of hospitals (UC Davis and Adventist Health Sonora) and a rehab facility (Avalon in Sonora) for the past couple months after esophageal cancer surgery and removal of his spleen. Since approximately November of 2021, he has lost about 60 pounds. He was continuing to lose weight and was down to 132 pounds when he entered Woodside 4 days ago.
Even though he has only been at Woodside for 4 days, his color has returned, his eyes are clear, his voice is stronger, he's not complaining, he's eating his food AND he has gained 3 pounds! He has not gained ANY weight since this nightmare began and yet, he has gained weight here! He is on a feeding tube throughout the night and given food by mouth during the day. It has not worked until now.
Right now the therapists are working on getting his legs stronger so that in a couple days they will be able to get him up walking again.
He is NOT complaining!! I'm not use to this...at all. Before now, it seemed as though he had given up because nothing was working. We were watching him wither away and it was devastating.
As of this moment, today, I feel in my heart, Woodside might just be the place that is going to save his life.
He's gained 3 pounds!!
The staff is so attentive and helpful. I feel like they genuinely care about the residents. They communicate any changes right away and keep the family up to date on what’s going on. The administration and management are available to answer questions when needed. I highly recommend Woodside if you or your family need care or rehabilitation.
Best care bar none. Would recommend to all ailing. Staff is A #1. Rehab facility treated me like their own family member & are extremely caring.
