(September 27, 2021, 9:55 pm)I love going to all the river accesses for the American River Parkway, but out of them all, River Bend Park might just be my favorite! The main paved bike trail going over the bridge to William B Pond park gets all the attention. But this park also has many good spots to picnic, many sections shallow water ideal for letting kids play in the river, many smaller dirt trails, and so many opportunities to see wildlife.
