I remember going to Cottage Market (as we knew it then, when tying an onion to one's belt was the style...) for bubble gum or candy bars. It was nice having these little neighborhood stores to go to.”

“I have no ideal why some folk give this locally owned establishment bad reviews. Their beer selection is amazing. Excellent prices on hard liquor. Need a $3000 bottle of Brandy or Whiskey? They have that too! Wine selection is more limited, due mostly to confines of square footage, but selection will satisfy a critical palate nevertheless. They also have a very nice deli in the back. They offer excellent, knowledgeable customer service. And they're very friendly folk. This is how one runs a mom & pop store, competing against the conglomerate giants like BevMo.”
