“I went in this store tonight looking for three ladies noodles. I looked an absolute mess because I was under the weather. The manager at first was unsure of how to receive me. But he treated me with so much kindness and patience. I explained to him I was looking for the type of noodles that you would use for kapoon... He assured me that he had gave me the right noodles and then he showed me his lunch.. he was eating kapoon. He then gave me one of his extra lunches. He did not charge me and I offer to pay. So I left money on the counter for him. This was the sweetest experience. I feel much better now and I will continue to go to this market for every Hmong, Lao need that I need.”
