Southside Park

Been going to Southside Park since I was a kid, fishing and playing at the playground. Now over the years I've been taking my kids to Southside Park to fish and play. I drive an electric car, it's also a good place to charge your car in the meantime.

We brought our grandchild to the playground here. It's a spectacular playground

Cool park downtown, there's a pond in the middle that has an area with playground equipment for kids on one side and restrooms on the otherside and plenty of grassy area for a picnic, and for your dogs to run around.

Great place to walk or jog and enjoy a nice water view. I've never had any problems (yet), but there can be questionable company on some mornings so I recommend walking with a buddy. Fantastic playground and activities for children with plenty of room to run wild and free.

Southside Park is one of my favorite parks in Sacramento. It is incredibly beautiful & well-kept these days which I appreciate. The playground is also a favorite within the community because of the eccentric spaceship theme. I have many fond memories as a child playing on that playground :)
