“A fun and exciting place to go to camp! I learned leadership skills that I have been using for years, and I have friends that I met at camp 40 years ago. Now, it is so fun serving as staff and being a part of campers coming to know Christ. Camp changes lives!”

“An awesome group campsite. Very secluded and can fit up to 40, we had about 15 people and there was plenty of space. The road into the campsite is a bit treacherous and def needs a high clearance car as it is quite bumpy. Takes about 20mins from the main road. Definitely recommend this site to groups.”

“Really nice trail. The slope along this trail is very uniform all the way up to Anderson peak. Lots of plants, flowers, trees and shadows. It’s very comfortable to walk onto it. There are several camps along the way. Even at the highest campground, you can still find water. Really amazing trail”

“This is a Methodist run camp we teach at each summer. It is in the mountains not too far from Big Bear lake. This year the new director has things ship shape. The environment is peaceful and beautiful. If you get an opportunity to visit for a retreat or conference make your best effort to do so. It is worth the effort.”

“Camp hosts were great. They run a tight ship. Which is awesome. The rules are given to you after they check you in. It makes it easier so everyone is on the same page. It was quiet and clean. Showers were immaculate and so were the toilets. Make sure to grab firewood at the general store before you get up there. Just follow the rules and you shouldn’t have any issues. It helps for a comfortable stay for everyone.”

“This was the second time my family and I have used this beautiful log cabin and just like the last time it was great. Plenty of room for all of the family, friends and kids. Everyone had just as good of an experience this time as they remembered from the last time. It was a prefect opportunity to do some fishing, hiking or just relax on the deck while we fired up the BBQ. Privacy on five acres with fantastic views of the mountains. Definetly would come back again.”

“Great views, medium experience hike. We only went 4 miles up about half way to the summit. Made the round trip 8 miles in about 3 hours and 45 minutes.... it was great. Nov is not too cold yet but definitely bring water and snacks if your going to go even to the half way point. Can't wait to go for the San Bernardino peak.”

“The smell of pine after its been its raining is very refreshing, the scenery is relaxing especially if you're tired of seeing the same buildings over and over. The drive alone for me is one way to clear my head of anything and everything I once had before on my mind. Great place to visit for a weekend getaway or just to do something different doesn't matter either way their's plenty of different things to do alone or with friends or family. Fishing, hiking, boating, camping, wildlife, and just the scenery could keep you busy for days.”

“Apple's and berries with a rough road. This historical area has to do with the early days of roads to the mountain. The McHaney brothers, James and William built a cabin on Deer Creek in 1876. Later the site of Clark's Ranch. The well-beaten foot path for miners and anglers passed this area in the very early days of mountain exploration. Hiram Clark of Clark's Ranch and 13 Redlands business men incorporated the Bear Valley Redlands toll road company. Clark homesteaded 160 acres in 1892 at the cabin built by the McHaney brothers and stayed for many years. This site is located on the north slope of the Santa Ana Canyon, about 3 miles west of Seven Oaks.”

Its truly beautiful outside with how quiet it is. Theres a fantastic family restaurant 2 minutes down the road in walking distance. I am certainly coming back for sure. A truly hidden gem.”

“I love the atmosphere of this family owned family restaurant. Their fish was fried perfectly, Cobb salad looked fantastic (but needs avocado), and they have house wine and domestic beer. It really is a great place to come with the family or come for a business meeting. There service was top notch! The new ownership has only been here for about 3 weeks and there are small things they can improve; like having a sauce with fish and chips, bringing out salad dressing with the salad (especially sense they home make most of their dressings: which is awesome), and making sure the beer is nice and cold.”

“I highly recommend Ron Ritter for your real estate needs in the Angelus Oaks area. I purchased my property through Ron 5 years ago and then came to him when I needed to sell and once again he helped me through the process in a friendly and highly professional manner, getting me the best price possible for my property. I would come to him again should I need real estate in his area.”

“I had the opportunity to have my older brother live at Angelus Oaks. When we found that he was suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's at a relatively young age (77), we looked at various large "communities that had 'memory care' sections. They were all lock-down-type, dreary and depressing. A friend told me to check into Residential Care for Elderly Communities. When i did, I found Pacific Pines and after meeting the Executive Directors, Ramon and Nancy, and touring Angelus Oaks, I knew this was the place my brother would be cared for, be happy at and that I would know he was safe. I was not only right about that, they exceeded my expectations. If you have a LOVED ONE who needs compassionate, loving care, this is the place to be!”
