Lou's Auto Shop

Lou's Auto Shop has been our family's "go to" auto shop for aporoxapproxi 10 years. A good friend of my husband referred us to Lou's for services to my husband's truck where the cost was much more comparable than the cost of the dealer. Each time there has been any mechanical disruption to our vehicles, Lou's has been our first choice for all our repair needs. We have had a new engine, new transmission, power steering, new brakes, rotors, and more all completed by Lou's and have been overly satisfied with the work performed as well as the money saved over the years. We highly tecrecomm Lou's Auto Shop for any auto repairs one may need here in the High Desert. Since our tenure began, we continue a close friendship with the owner and intend on continuing our services with him.

Called Lou for a quote on Thursday. Got a great price and setup a appointment to drop car off Monday. Needed a radiator swap and God knows what else I thought. Lou took the car from me on Monday(I got it bacc Thursday). I called each day to find out what Lou was doing to the Jetta and learned that Lou had done more to the car than asked.
When I asked Lou about it he stated that I had told him I didn't want to dump a bunch of money into a wasted piece of metal .So he felt it best to diagnose the motor, pressure test it for leaks, cracks, etc... Lou changed the thermostat and housing. Me being me I was like hold up, what's that going to cost me??? He kind of laughed and replied I'm not charging you anything extra. Just don't want you drinving away in a piece of junk or car not properly repaired. When I got the bill everything was kosher he had just added in the amount for the parts. Which were priced better than I could buy them. Lol. My total bill out the door was cheaper than 3 shops quoted LABOR prices. I am now excitedly driving my GLI!!!

The Best! I drove to Victorville from San Diego and I was leaking transmission fluid. I didn't know where to go and I was thinking the worse and that is was going to cost me a lot of money. They checked all the fluids and looked for leaks. Then, they tightened the bolts on the pan and it saved me tons of money. Everyone there was super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely go there again and recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work!

Great and honest shop! I have my civic in for a tranny swap, the tranny i got from pick a part had some questionable issues so instead of just putting it in to get paid they called to give me a chance to get a different one. If you are looking for s good honest shop look no further! I highly recommend this shop!
