The Axe Lair

I came with a group of friends for our first axe throwing experience. The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The woman who got us set up and gave us a tutorial seemed very knowledgeable. All 5 of us clearly sucked at this sport and will not be joining any axe throwing teams any time soon, but we had a great time. After a while, one of the guys came over and offered us a lighter axe, which seemed to help a bit. My only suggestion would be knowing that this was our first time, that someone came over to check on us to see what we were doing wrong, maybe gave us more tips and tricks. I reserved 2 hours, which was too long. After about an hour, we were done humiliating ourselves :-) we just went and sat down to chat for a while. I don't know if I'd go back, this may not have been my thing, but the experience was great.

Fun place. A lot harder than it looks. Kinda reminded me a bowling on keeping score.

Super nice place, staff is very friendly and they show you how to do everything. Each throwing station is sectioned off and has a set of games you can play, like ace throw tic tac toe, and zombie target hitting. They also have low priced drinks, including a nice assortment of beers and IPAs!

We came for our friends birthday as a group of 4 and it was such a good time!
I don’t recommend coming in odd # groups or groups larger than 4 unless you get multiple axe throwing stalls next to each other.
We did the 1hr experience but honestly could have done it for 2hrs. It was such a good time and they offer different types of Axe throwing games. So you’re not just throwing the axe at the same target for an hour, you can mix it up and play other games with different objectives!
They do sell alcoholic beverages but just canned beer/seltzers. (No food options)
There are other games to play after your time is up like giant Jenga or Connect 4 along with others.
Definitely would come back and do it again!

Awesome place! So much fun! The staff are super friendly and help get you started to an hour of axe throwing. Lots of games to play besides axe throwing- Giant Connect 4, Centipede video game, Darts, Giant Jenga, and Corn hole.
