I am so glad we chose to give birth at this birth center and with Ms. Tammy.
We had 3 prior miscarriages so we didn’t seek pregnancy care until almost halfway through my pregnancy. We went to one other birth center that was about half an hour closer to us than this one. We liked them and when we came here in the parking lot we said this ones going to have to be a lot better to make up for the drive and boy was it. The facility is nice and roomy and very clean even before Covid.
Tammy and Brittany were so helpful every time and never made us feel uneasy about choosing to go all natural . I would tell them what I wanted, Tammy would ask me why I wanted it to make sure I knew my reasons and then say that’s great let’s do it. I never once felt pressured to do anything I didn’t want to. They made me feel confident in my decisions. I told them from the start I do not want to go to hospital unless it’s life or death. We briefly discussed what would happen in that event just to be prepared but I was never made to feel fearful or like I couldn’t do it my way.
My birth was so peaceful and beautiful and everything I wanted. Tammy tried to let me do a water birth as I expressed my interest in that. However, baby just wouldn’t come and I ended up birthing on the bed on all fours. I struggled for a bit and Tammy said flip, I did and out she came.
I can not recommend this place enough. You truly do get to birth your way. Plus they give 10 weeks post partum care which was great for both myself and my husband mentally and emotionally. I will definitely come back here for my future baby/babies and recommend them to anyone wanting to experience birthing in your power.
Tammy and her staff are completely amazing. My last birth was the best experience I've had by far. I highly recommend this birth center.
Tammy was a student midwife when she attended my birth, and she was amazing. Always pleasant and positive, very capable in a less than adequate situation. Easy to talk to, fun, informative. Everything needed in a midwife.
Here are just a few words to describe Tammy and her staff: knowledgeable, kind, patient, encouraging, and thorough. My wife and I started seeing Tammy shortly before we moved to the desert, and we've been unbelievably happy with her care. Of special note is that Kari and I are both disabled--and rather than be critical, negative, and give us a bunch of "You're not gonna be able to..." talk, Tammy immediately started figuring out how she could accommodate any needs we might have. And since Kari is a first-time mom, and with sweet Hannah being a good-sized girl (9.5 pounds), the birth was difficult. Through the entire day (and night!), Tammy and co. were reassuring and comforting, which made Hannah's entrance into the world that much more beautiful.
To anyone in SoCal considering natural childbirth, I'll say with no reservation: Birth Your Way is top-notch, and I guarantee you'll be as pleased as we are!
words cannot express the gratitude, how blessed I am to have met Tammy and her teem of wise women. there is a book that I want to write of how God used Tammy to straighten me out. you see my daughter was pregnant at the age of 15. and because of Tammy and her great team my daughter just gave birth june 26. I believe God set me on collision course with Tammy. my religious old fashioned ways of thinking vs Tammy showing me God's grace love and mercy and kindness, compassion ect. she not only help my daughter through her whole pregnancy in awesome ways. but she also help a struggling father or I should say an X modern-day Pharisee.. thank you Tammy for telling it like it is. may the Lord continue to give you and you Team wisdom and knowledge to continue helping teen, Mothers. And Dads that don't know what they're doing. P.S.
for all you dads that think they know what they're doing you definitely need to walk into Tammy office.
