We found a very popular shop close to where we we’re staying and it was nice. But for what I was looking for, Gem’s of the West is absolutely the place to go. If you’re looking for some really beautiful and diverse gemstones and learn about the history behind the stones, please come to Gems of the West. The owner is an absolute sweetheart. He is a former teacher, military man and avid geologist. To that list you can definitely say he’s a docent of geology. The kids absolutely loved their experience there and I couldn’t have been happier! This is the #1 place in the area for sure.”
