“If you love rusty old vehicles this is for you. Some of the vehicles here are 100+ years old. Photographers heaven. They do occasional Sunday night star shoots. The owner/docent was very friendly. It can be very hot, dress and prepare accordingly. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, including bees and rattlesnakes.”

“Well, besides buying some much needed supplies, I ate breakfast and came back for potatoe & cheese soap. The food was perfect. The man working the front gave me a phone # so that I was able to hire a ride down to the start of the PCT. Oh, and of coarse I had a malt. I would have gone back a 3rd time, but my 20 mile hike took 11.5 hours and I was beat. Thank-you, I hope to come again. II Sticks”

“Stayed here for about a week, ending Thanksgiving am. All sites were clean and maintained. There are no issues with power. Water is on a boil notice, so I filled my tank. Full hookups are available. Camp restrooms have a coin-operated shower. Camp was still open until Wednesday night, Thursday am. It was packed by the time I left. Talked to a couple of the "neighbors," many have been going there multiple times for decades.”
