  I walk here daily on my lunch breaks--very well kept, not very busy during the day/low surfer turnout, very relaxing. Fun when the tide is super low, exposing all of the rocks in the area/creating mini tidepools that are safe for kiddos to explore

  Love So. CARLSBAD State Beach!!
  Ponto Beach is awesome. Pretty private, there is nice sand, and small rocky area as you walk to ocean. Love parking RV right on side of road, ocean is our front door

  Best experience ever! The staff was very nice and we had a spot that was big enough to fit our trailer AND our truck (which is a Ford F-250)! There's a Junior Ranger program for the kids to enjoy! Highly recommend it!

  Don't come here. It's beautiful and tranquil without you... You won't like it. It's one of families favorite places to stay. Because of this please camp inland like Hurkey Creek. It will stay peaceful without you.

  Absolutely amazing place to bring the family. The rocky beach made it easy not to track a mess into the car and it kept all of our close clean. As it being farther away from the rest of the sandy beaches the traffic was at a minimal and left us with a quiet slice of heaven. I will highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a wonderful vacation beach!!
