“I switched to this Rite Aid from the one on Avocado a few months back, as I found one pharmacist at Avocado to be very rude to me on many occasions. Since I’ve been going to this location, I couldn’t be happier. All staff behind the counter are always very friendly, and my refills are always speedy. I was there this morning, on Thanksgiving, right when the pharmacy opened. Everyone was still just as nice, friendly, and helpful as always, even when having to work on a holiday. Wish I would have gotten her name, as the lady who helped me at the drop off window today was especially kind. All I can remember is sandy blonde hair and she has a 19 year old son. Rite Aid execs, track her down and give her a raise! ????”

“I've been using CVS for my RX refills for over 25 years, in different cities all over the country (I move a lot). I have tried other pharmacies thinking I might have an easier time with refills, but I always went back to CVS. This particular store here in El Cajon, CA is exceptional. The customer service in the pharmacy is the best ever. Here in San Diego County we have over 15-Million People. Many seniors as well. There are long lines for everything, no matter what kind of business you visit and sometimes there are long lines here at this CVS store too. But the staff are some of the most compassionate and understanding people on my medical support team. They go out of their way to telephone me when there is a problem with any of my RX refills. And when they offer to contact my doctor for me, I always say 'Yes' and they never let me down. And even when there is a long line to pick-up prescriptions, they all join in to get the line cleaned up as quickly as possible. Even the pharmacy manager who is the Licensed Pharmacist, joins in on the cash register whenever the line gets long. I have sometimes been in line with a dozen people in front of me and got to the register within 5 minutes. Our neighborhood is very diverse. They give every customer the same careful attention and respect as they give to me. They know their regular customers by first name and you can't help but keep your cool when the cashier smiles at you and asks how you have been. It's very personal service and they are compassionate and understanding that some of their customers are seriously ill. I am not the most patient person in the world and when I first started going there I sometimes was rude. But once I realized how wonderful the staff is, and how hard they work, they always get the utmost respect and patience from me because I consider them a great asset in my life. They are very special people at this particular CVS Pharmacy. I highly recommend it. The best time to go for RX Refills are the weekdays, just before lunch time. Typically there is no line.”

“The homeless are with us. Businesses like 7-11 have more to contend with than most. I have seen evidence of the owner/mngr trying to correct this problem. In particular, a large sign appeared months ago outside the entry doors asking patrons to avoid giving hand outs. I have in the past given money from time to time as I’m sure that others have too. However, I did take the request to heart, I no longer give money away to the homeless at 7-11’s. We have to take into consideration too that the police no longer show up in response to help for this cause. Unless a crime has been committed the police are far too busy and perhaps too few available to come out for this purpose when hundreds of businesses citywide have similar issues. Can you imagine how many frustrating requests from private property owners there must be asking for help? I’ve seen the homeless dissapear for days only to return when the pressure, whatever it may be, is off. They return. It’s at the owners expense, time and trouble, to deal with this issue. Anything less than an additional full time employee wouldn’t suffice. People without homes are are with us. The city, state, the nation haven’t solved the problem, so why would you expect one business to do it alone?”
