“Great for baseball. I uploaded a map with the numbers of the fields. Maybe save folks a little blind wandering during little league.”

“Good park. Only 2 regular swings, and 1 baby swing. Probably a better park for a picnic because it’s a little boring, err, it’s playground equipment is a little irregular which is cool for a little bit, kids have to use their imaginations to enjoy it, which is good for their brains. Definitely challenging equipment for uncoordinated.”

“It's a very nice and small park. There's table with benches with a grill on them. You always find parking here. The only downside I would say is to get to the restroom, you have to climb a huge set of stairs.”

“I love Botanic Gardens! Came here with my friend and husband (they both love plants and I like flowers) to explore. Admission is $18 which I found pretty high. I would think for that amount, there should be a bigger parking lot (we found parking on the side street, not even in the lot). The garden is huge though and we spent 2 hours exploring. There weren't any water fountains (that we saw) and I was dying of thirst after walking so much and emptied out our water bottle! The greenhouse had really cool plants like the corpse plant and a helpful and creative display of how to care for your plants and visual examples of them. I have to say, the gift shop was a little disappointing and didn't have too much stuff. They definitely sell a lot of plants though. On our exploration of the gardens, it is easy to get lost and miss lots of things cause there is so much to see! From a blue lined lizard to the real tree house with a great view and lots of different fruit and flower trees! Admission price is high but I will say there is plenty to see and walk around. It definitely helps to bring a hat or umbrella.”

“One of the nicest parks I've been to. Well designed and constructed. Concrete is top notch. Definitely more of a plaza even though there is a bowl off to the side. Not a single quarter pipe though. Endless variety of ledges and stairs. No lights. Trees provide some shade. Surrounding park is great too.”

“My sister had a party there for her twins 1st b-day. The location was awesome. Nice deck outside with views of the lagoon and ocean. There was a bathroom upstairs and area to prepare the coffee and birthday cake (cupcakes). Lastly, the staff was very helpful and showed me where the elevator was to help with my heavy PA system, amps, mics.. etc... I highly recommend this location for small parties of about 30-70 people.. Parking lot was full but there was plenty of parking along the road.”

“We loved visiting this park. The bathrooms were clean. The view of the lagoon was nice, and will be nicer when the lagoon restoration work is finished. The exhibits were interesting to read. Ask the ranger about Annie's Canyon Trail. That's the best part of the park. (Well, my kids favorite may have been the tortoise.)”

“Beautiful little beach, popular for families with little kids. If you don’t want to pay for parking look for spots along the side of the road, it’s still right on the beach. Also if you want to get away from all the kids just walk a little ways down the beach. BTW, if you want to have the whole place to yourself, even in tourist season, come after sunset. Bring a light jacket, couple chairs it’s all yours. Stargaze, watch the waves, look for ships at sea and UFOs. So nice.”

“Secluded trails buried between suburban neighborhoods. Not easy to find but worth a visit, especially for locals. Easy to forget you're surrounded by houses.”

“Quiet meadow tucked away in the middle of a residential area. A stream runs through it. You can fish in the stream. A small waterfall down stream. Not suitable for swimming for multiple reasons. Good for amateur fishing.”

“A small Park tucked away at the end of a unassuming Road. The H Street viewpoint offers a beautiful view over the ocean and Bluffs just near the self realization fellowship. The Gardens and views from the self realization fellowship are nicer, and more spacious, so if you have the opportunity to go there instead you won't be let down.”

“I love this place! Jose and his dad always greet me when I come in, but don’t follow me around trying to sell me. José is usually there and is always helpful and knowledgeable with my questions. I love to support small family run businesses and this is my go to for plants and more. I bought my two fountains there and they work great. I recommend Cordova Gardens to all my friends with small or big projects. I’m a small business owner myself and I shop local !!”

“Love this beach. The view from the top of the stairs is beautiful and never gets old. Sometimes my husband and I meet on the benches and have lunch together during the work day. I run the stairs for a nice scenic workout from time to time. The beach itself is great as well. Tends to be a bit less crowded than Moonlight.”
