“Our absolute favorite place to visit. Doesn’t feel as crowded as San Diego Zoo since it’s much bigger. Many animals to see and explore. Great trails for walks with amazing views. If you are local, membership purchase is definitely worth it. Plus, with every visit you are helping animals! Have fun!”

“Stayed for 3 nights, great location to the parks! About 10 min walk to the entrance of either park. Though there were some concerns from other reviews about some of the homeless near the 7-11, I never once felt uneasy walking past there as the corner is fairly well lit and it's a busy street, so honestly no worries about the crowd if you're simply walking by. I would recommend staying here for families on a bit of a budget. We had a "Standard" room, 2 double beds. The room was fairly clean, although you can tell the age of the place as it does look rather dated and dull vs more modern spots. But honestly, you're there to sleep comfortably after a day at the parks not admire your hotel room every time you enter it right? The bathroom was clean and showers/tubs were good. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast offered each morning, they had enough to fill up most appetites (omelettes, muffins, cereal, waffles, and the usual coffee/juice/milk offerings). They close at 10am sharp, so make sure you're there before to get something before heading to the parks. Bottom line, good place to stay for the price and location! Would not have any issues staying here again.”

“This CVS always picks up the phone and gets my prescription ready in a timely matter. The staff is also very friendly on both ends. I tried to go to a CVS closer to me after moving but came back to this one because it’s the only location that is good.”

“Extremely mixed feelings about this place, unsure if it's because I didn't see the waterfall? Or? I hiked through one of the entrances to the trail (close to the storage unit place) And for about 3-5 miles I didn't really see anything but desert foliage and dust. I mean this is my personal experience and I did walk, I imagine with some mountain bikes it would be more rewarding.”

“Flat trails to run and some local hills nearby. Bring water for your dog! Clean up after it too! This means throwing the doggy bag in the trash provided. Lets keep this place clean for the lake and animals that live here.”
