  Gretchen is absolutely wonderful at what she does. I started following her and seeing her about 10 years ago. She is so knowledgeable and really cares about her clients looking and feeling their best. She really understands the body and how it works and how to taylor a workout for someone with certain limitations. She makes doing Pilates enjoyable and really helps you to feel stronger in your body.

  I am a 68-year-old woman with some physical issues, definitely not an athlete and only mildly active. In previous exercise settings I have always managed to injure myself, requiring time off for recovery. I’ve been working with Gretchen virtually since August 2020 and had the great opportunity to work with her for a couple days at her studio in November 2021 while visiting the San Diego area. Gretchen has a comprehensive understanding of the human anatomy and the way everything works together as a whole. Her knowledge of the Pilates method is deep which she translates to our sessions, adapting them to each person’s condition on any particular day. I’m always amazed at how vigilant she is during our online sessions, correcting our movement immediately if anything looks off. That’s how we avoid injury. I finally feel that I am getting stronger and moving better. I wasn’t sure how the whole online thing would work, but it has been easy and enjoyable to participate (she has a great sense of humor), and I trust her to look after my well-being. These sessions have been a godsend during the past couple years. I highly recommend Gretchen Roscoe to all levels of Pilates participants.

  I am always surprised by how much stronger I am after each class with Gretchen, and how much more my body can do! I have been with many Pilates teachers, but what makes Gretchen different is that she is very knowledgeable about the human body in general, and goes one step beyond by knowing the individual body of each of her clients. Not only that, she has a huge knowledge base of different Pilates exercises, and knows exactly what exercises are right for each body. Every class is always different, and Gretchen caters every class to what is perfect for my body and how I am feeling that day. But what I love most about Gretchen is that she is just fun to be around! She is bubbly and fun, and happy, and I always feel amazing after a class with her!

  Gretchen has returned my husband to mobility. She is very experienced with all kinds of injury challenges, works your way up in a gentle way. Gretchen is very warm, bubbly and happy personality, total joy to work out with her. She knows what she is doing, she can explain why and how it affects you, very equipped with knowledge and will tell you about technical details of your movements and body reactions. Of course if you ask and interested in all of that as my husband was. I highly recommend Gretchen Roscoe. She is a true gem personality-wise and high notch professional available for you here in Ramona. Which is not the case for our area, as you know. Start your healing today.

  I have had the pleasure of taking pilates with Gretchen for several years. She is the most amazing encourager. She has a conversational style that is so welcoming and is akin to working out with a dear friend. The breadth of her knowledge is incredible. Every single time I take a lesson I have an AHA moment and connect with my body even deeper. She has seen me through knee injuries, lower back strain and vertigo. I feel like I know and relate to my body in a whole new way. G, you're the best!!
