(February 19, 2020, 12:10 pm)At 62 years old I still longboard skateboard. I love carving the parking lots at the stadium, big shopping centers and malls. My wife of 40 years passed away last June. I am lost with my world turned upside down. I have trouble keeping my mind off the subject and focusing on things.
So longboard skateboarding pulls me back down to Earth so I can deal with this. I have never had a custom longboard built special for my height and weight and my special needs.The crew took me under their wing and explain things I didn't know. They built me a special longboard specifically for me and my carving needs. I felt like family in their warehouse.
I advise anybody who needs a longboard skateboard to go to Muir skate. They will take care of them and help them out with a custom board for their needs.
I'm from Hawaii and no longer surf. So now I carve the big parking lots with my longboard. Special Mahalos to the crew at Mira Skate shop for taking care of me. I will definitely be a return customer and take my friends there with me to. I was so pleased I had to run home and customize the board with all of my stickers.

(December 4, 2019, 4:56 pm)Stopped in today. Don't go by the photos posted, I'm assuming this shop moved in the last year.
No real signage on the warehouse.
However, the customer service was top notch, took the time to ask who was getting the board (for our 9 year old daughter, her first board). Asked her weight and tailored the bushings to her weight so she'd be able to turn it and actually get into skating.
Selected a board that he felt best fit for her first board, with soft enough wheels for her to be able to learn on, but also a little tail for her to start learning tricks if she would like to.
Replaced the stock bushings with a softer one for the first time, young skater. Explained to us that a normal trick board would have hard wheels and hard bushings which could have a negative learning experience.
Gave us their cyber Monday sale price, and said come back if there are any issues. Suggested to bring her to the park in RPQ when she gets comfortable.
We'll definitely reccomend.
(September 12, 2019, 6:11 pm)Was referred here to buy the trucks, wheels, bushings for my new Rodgers Brothers Street Luge. I emailed Scott ahead of time to let them know I would be coming in. He was super helpful and organized. The website is really well designed and has a lot of great information for people like myself.
