“This morning my husband surprised me with an early birthday present and booked a morning whale watching tour. He also invited my 80 year old mother along, and she had a blast! Adventure Rib Rides fully equipped all of us in warm suits and secure life vests. Then we met Kirk who was our captain for the tour, and he gave us the rundown on all the rules, safety, and security aspects of riding in a RIB. This was the second trip we’ve taken with this company and we have to say that they are the BEST! What a fun filled excursion we had, and saw 2 grey whales and two pods of playful dolphins. “Captain Scott was incredible! Really fun, funny, and knowledgeable. He was knowledgeable about the area but the water as well. Being a boater, I was a little worried about inexperienced people being on the water but Captain Scott did a great job educating everyone on the basics of water safety and was clearly watching out on the water for other people and picking the safest areas and times to go FAST and actually have a blast!! He was the perfect “Papa Duck”. As for the tour itself, we went to several different places, got to see the USS Midway up close and personal, got to see dozens of sea lions, and our course got to drive our own personal little speed boat!!! I don’t remember if there’s options but I wouldn’t do anything less than a 2 hour tour (if it’s an option). You don’t get too wet but you are on the water, so bathing suit and appropriate over clothes and sun screen would be perfect. I wouldn’t bring anything big, there’s not a lot of room for big bags and definitely not small items that aren’t on your body (if you want to keep them in the boat). I brought my keys, a water bottle, and my phone/wallet (which second person in the boat held onto). Totally worth the money, can’t wait to go again soon!!! Thank you Scott!!!!!”

“I had the best time with my girlfriends! Brandon and Rosario were so nice and fun. They were open to suggestions of where to go, but were super knowledgeable about the unseen areas. We went paddle boarding off the boat and had dolphins swimming next to us! Truly a magical experience. If you are visiting or live in San Diego sign up for an amazing tour, its SO worth it!”

“Perfect beach house for a girls weekend get away, in quiet area close to great food and music, with a cheap uber ride to Old Town, Mission Beach and the Airport , Old Town Cafe is a must if you want delicious Mexican food. House was as promised in description and reviews. It was very clean and perfectly stocked for making it home away from home. The area was nice and we felt safe walking to the beach and back (even after the sun went down) We will absolutely be back!”

“What a wonderful sail. Because of a cancellation, there were just 4 of us as guests on the boat including my wife and myself and a couple from Arizona. We had a wonderful time with everyone getting an extended time behind the wheel steering the boat. Our shipmates also took lots of time on the grinders. The weather wasn't perfect but the breeze was good and we got to see lots of fun sites along the bay including downtown, the USS Midway, active US navy ships and submarines and plenty of other boats in the bay - all of which we were faster than! It was a great afternoon with lots of time to talk to one of the boat's owners and hear about the history of this boat that raced in the 1992 America's Cup.”

It was an INCREDIBLE experience and all the guests said it was the best party we have ever thrown. Amos, Shari and the rest of the crew are incredibly accommodating, and also flexible which I really appreciated.
