“I've been going to Cat Lounge for close to 20 years. I've always loved the place & it's closest to my house. That makes it easier if I have to stumble home. I loved the old ownership & the old staff but I have to say that the new owners have come in, spruced the place up a bit & brought in a lot of new energy in to the place, by way of a great new staff. I plan on having a lot more fun times here. Cheers”

“Recently tried Eddie V's for first time to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the experience was beyond expectation. Truly phenomenal tasting food and a diverse selection of wines and entree's. The service never missed a beat and they really made us feel comfortable. They added a special touch by placing flower petals on the table and a congratulations card. Highly recommend and will definitely return!”

“Nice bar with a great owner and bartenders. Two pool tables, karaoke, food at events, etc. I've been back numerous times. They make you feel like family. I am in love with this place!”

“Beautiful restaurant. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The price was not to outrageous for the portions I received. Even though the jidori chicken was tasty it was tough. The mixed vegetable bed for the chicken was lacking a sweet taste, which was the only thing lacking in the dish. The lemon crumble on the mashed potatoes gave the mild sour while the chicken breading had the savoury taste. Sorry for no photo, I didn't think about it until I was halfway done.”

“Amazing food, and very nice looking inside the clubhouse. Reasonable prices and great food, just small portions. Excellent food, service, and the band "Groove Squad" was great! My family's new favorite spot for special "Sunday brunch" time meals. We've gone here for Father's Day, a family birthday, and now Mother's Day. It's never crowded late morning/early afternoon on a Sunday, so we can relax getting there and then while dining. Nice, quiet, scenic setting, and the service is attentive, polite and efficient. A few of my family members swear by the Chicken and Waffles, which have a little kick/spice. There is valet parking, if you would like. Always recommended to others.”

“Great place for Karaoke nights. They have them running from Thursday through Sunday. Josh is really cool and will fix you up with whatever drink you'd want. A true hole in the wall kinda place in SD!”

“This place was awesome! Cajun and BBQ ! Both were authentic , the BBQ was actually very impressive. We went on a Thursday night which I highly suggest as the local Jazz radio station has the mic and the bands were amazing. Drinks were not terribly expensive, staff was great, food was really really good, but the music and atmosphere on a Wed took the cake. Would go back again and probably will even though I live in Ocean Beach. 10/10 would recommend again!!!”

“This food was delicious! Loved the tower burger. Calamari was to die for. The wings were amazing. The crunchy role is great. I love the valet offered at this location. Felt like a king. Definitely going here again.”

“Awesome courts with well maintained nets and lines created in the sand. Lots of people here all the time. Pretty easy to find a court during off season but summer you do have to get there early. Biggest complaint is restrooms could be closer and maybe a shop nearby to purchase snacks, water, sunscreen, etc.”

“White guy visiting this place from Houston. Everyone was really nice. Dance floor was about 1,500 square feet and not overcrowded. Drink prices were reasonable. No cover, free parking, and free dance lesson if you get there before 10:00. Had a great time and would recommend.”

“Now that Polite has been around for 5 years.... what that’s crazy.... they are pairing down their menu and focusing on different types of drinks that make them great! We tried so many new drinks and it made me miss some of the old drinks a lot less. I miss some of the old bar staff, but the current staff is so friendly and makes things happen right away.”

“I stopped by here on my layover 09:00 Friday morning. I was greeted by the first customer service agent. There are multiple desks and depending on which membership you have you have to use that specific window. I found that to be weird and unnecessary. I was given a 10.00$ credit to use in the lounge to spend on anything like drinks or menu items. The lounge was clean and well attended to. The views were great you can see all of the different planes landing and taking off. The bar was well stocked and nicely displayed. I would say the lounge stayed 70% occupied while I was there. Food rating 3/5 based on what I saw. Drinks 4/5 were pricey and didn’t . Most important coffee 5/5.”

“This place is spectacular! Both in terms of food quality and atmosphere. Quite a bit of hustle and bustle and usually a wait during peak times, but everything is a treat. One of the few places I've found to reliably have lobster tails. Also, rose champagne by the glass. Excellent selection of appetizers and entrees. And a nice, muted, but still a bit chaotic interior. One of my favorite spots in San Diego. Enjoy!”

“I invited a dozen other ladies to join me for a night of burlesque here at The Merrow. I ordered a paloma, and it was delicious. Service was friendly, and the bartender made me laugh. Bonus points! And then the show! Every single performer was high energy and entertaining. Some went for pure joy, others comedy, still others traditional sexy seduction. We're already talking about our next burlesque night!”
