“I asked officer Sisnerus from PD at Skyline Dr., to look into a problem around the school just off Tooma st. There were two situations actually, and he said he would check on them and return my call later in the week. He called back in about 1 hour. I was thinking when I answered, he must need more info. In fact he had checked my problems and solved one , gave me info on the other in less time than I could get my hair cut.. . That Officer is a good example.”

“I went in around 10a on a Thursday and the station was open. The officer that worked the front desk was very nice and professional. I know select officers can be rude and nasty but u can find that in every job title in America. I was treated very nicely. The officer was professional and polite. He also understood what I was going through. Thank Rancho penasquitos police department. Job well done.”

“This is also known by mariners as the "Customs Dock". If you depart San Diego by sea, and make landfall in Mexico, and then come back to San Diego, then you must tie up at the Customs Dock first before proceeding anywhere else. There is a courtesy telephone located up the dock. Simply follow the dialing instructions and a customs officer will drive out (usually from San Diego airport) and perform the necessary customs duties while you are tied alongside. Naturally, this dock is also where the Harbor Police keep their rigid inflatable vessels. Consequently, please follow the painted instructions on the dock or face a parking ticket! The dock also is one of San Diego bay's public pump out locations. Consequently it can get a little busy in the summer time. Take note there is also a public restroom at the top of the dock along with limited free car parking. Naturally, at the top of the dock is the Harbor Patrol office which is manned all hours of the day.”

“My husband is a Police officer. I have a family of officers. It's easy to be arm chair quarter backs and critique everything an officer does. There are good and bad in every profession. Even as a wife of a policeman I have had a unpleasant experience with an officer. I do not throw "my husband is a cop" around. I follow orders. Do as instructed and go on. One person with his 1 star look at his reviews. They all have 1 star. I would love to know what each of you do? Are you exemplary at your job? If you have a complaint get the badge # take it to the Sgt in charge file a complaint. Don't slander these fine officers. They are the ones who have to dive for a missing persons in the harbor, put boat fires out and Patrol the streets and secure the Safety of the Airport. They are a highly trained multifaceted department who work very hard for this city. By the way ,fact check. San Diego Harbor Police are not paid government employees. These fine men and women who put their life on the line everyday for the citizens (and yes, you thankless ones with rights) are paid through the San Diego Port Authority and pay social security taxes unlike other agencies. ”
