“A bit pricey for what you get, but they take walk-ins. The barber down the street, Valley Barbers, does not. No music playing when we got here and only one worker with her little son running around. There are three barber chairs and place was clean. There was a TV but it wasn't on. Very quiet in there. Nice and cool. Norma is awesome and very nice. She is quick and efficient. I originally found him because he is one of the few men in the North Park area that can style my hair properly. As a man, I want my hair to be styled/cut by another man, because that perspective is important to me. There surprisingly aren’t a lot of great hair stylist that are men in the San Diego area though, but Axle is great. Axle is great at what he does and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to try out something different.”

“Walked in yesterday morning to get my young son a hair cut. We were welcomed immediately. Jordyn made my son, who actually doesn't enjoy hair cuts, feel very comfortable and at ease. She gave him some toys to help distract him and make him feel better about the experience while she talked to him encouragingly and positively. You can tell she and the other staff are good with kids. I showed Jordyn a photo of which hairstyle to do and she did just that. The cut looked great on my son and he was very happy with it too. The other staff (I didn't get her name), who was also very friendly, continued to make my son feel comfortable too. I'm happy to find out that this Supercuts can handle kids so we will be returning here. More so, price is cheaper than Sports Clips who we went to previously and were disappointed with.”

This salon is walking distance from the Lakehouse and a great option for wedding party pampering! We walked in, with no appointment, about an hour before closing and we were happily greeted. The staff was so friendly, they even gave us candy shots to celebrate later! I'm writing this review not only because of my positive experience, but because it's been a month and my nails still look awesome! My gels have not lifted or chipped . . . It's been 4 weeks! I get my nails done often and have never had such a great gel manicure before. The only reason I haven't had them taken off is because I'm curious how long they will hold up!
