“Peggy is incredible! She was there for every step of prenatal, labor, and postpartum support. She is thoughtful, super experienced, and did her absolute best to give me the birth I wanted. She is also a great communicator and helped me stay the course on my preferences as much as possible during labor. Peggy probably put in as much work as I did the day of! And when labor didn’t go as planned she provided additional emotional support too. I highly recommend Peggy as a doula! She is also all around a good human.”

“I have been training under sifu Rogelio Lopez since 2004, and I don't see myself training with anyone else any time soon. Not only is he a fantastic instructor, he is also one of the best, well-trained martial artists I have ever encountered. He's not easy, but what worthwhile things are? If you come to this school to practice Pa Kua Chang, be prepared to work harder than you ever have, and to learn more about kung fu than just about anywhere else. This school is the genuine article, and sifu Lopez is the Real Deal.”

“Good coffee, nice stop in a small town off the interstate. I wouldn't pay attention to the bad reviews below...small town, small business, stuff happens and you need to close early. I am a straight black dark roast guy and Pine Valley Java scratched the itch. Lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful.”

“Mark personally came to do work at my house. He was always on time, quick to respond, finished the job in a timely fashion, and cleaned up after himself. He ripped out the top of our old built in, painted the bottom part, installed a reclaimed wood accent wall, textured and painted where the old built in once was, and even put up a wood mantle I found last minute! He also suggested we put in two small can lights to brighten the space and direct your eyes to the wall. That suggestion made the whole project come together. No job is too small for him. While he was here, he raised our kitchen island with reclaimed wood blocks, put up mirrors, shelves, and artwork, fixed our screen door, switched the way the refrigerator door opened, put up outdoor lighting, put a timer on our sprinklers, and touched up paint around the house. As a new home owner his prices are affordable and his eye for detail is top notch. In the future we will be calling him for bigger flooring, kitchen, and bathroom remodels. His work ethic is just unparalleled. Call him and you will see!”

“I had tinnitus and it really messed up my sleep. Went to Coastal Hearing and got a tiny Hearing aid device to retrain my brain to reprogram the sound signals coming from my auditory nerves. It worked! Highly recommended Christopher and the team at Coastal Hearing for tinnitus, hearing loss, hearing aid and remediation. Do it, don't wait another day to live without Tinnitus.”

“At times, I like to share what I learn. This post is a must, especially now in the midst of COVID crisis. I learned for years--humble, committed, fair, and reliable citizens of San D. county's communities have been giving their all --as Senior Patrol Volunteers. I learned each of the sheriff, many police and most CHP subdivisions have their own dedicated volunteers. But, they share the same deep commonality: Each of these people has made our neighborhoods safer and our quality of life better. Each of these senior volunteers individually and as a team give each week--a daytime schedule they have personally chosen. Each of them manage a wide variety of interesting and reasonable duties and tasks--out of wanting the best for others, and ultimately, to do the right thing. COVID is the reason they have been temporarily shut down. May the senior volunteers at the local PD and at the sheriff dept. continue to be healthy and strong through this crisis. Each of these people in their silent way have been stepping up and giving----long before COVID. Not everyone at 50 and older--is able to do what these volunteers tirelessly do. In a few or several months, North, East, West, and South County will have volunteers back on the streets. Possibly, more people will notice these truly amazing groups of dedicated people at all corners of our large county. They each make an enormous difference in their own individual way. They saw the opportunity to do so and make it part of their active weekly life.”

“I have know Rebecca for few years from working in the industry as a paralegal. I worked as a volunteer Domestic Violence advocate with legal Aid and she was on my panel of attorneys. I know she did a phenomenal job representing our victims of Domestic Violence, which I'm sure that this changed some of our victims life. I would highly recommend as very good attorney, especially when it comes to Divorce matters.”

“Jasmin pierced my tragus a while back and she has the golden touch. It didn’t hurt at all, even though I’m pretty sure that’s a tricky piercing to do. She knew exactly how to make it happen smoothly for me, and it is healing perfectly. She is very professional and a very talented and knowledgeable piercer.”
