“My mom saw it while on our way to our Airbnb, on Friday and said she wanted to check them out, after our way back home today (Sunday) and we’re so pleased we did! It definitely gives it, “like you’re back at home, visiting family” atmosphere. Kevin takes the order (if the order is big, also with the help of his mom!!!) and then brings it out to you, offering to get your drink for you, also with a napkin, utensils and sides of red or green chili— I’m a sucker for both, but the green chili is my favorite! The red chili is really good, too! I shared with him that we’re visiting from AZ. He then shared that it’s his mom’s restaurant and they were up the road for 6 years, before they moved over here, at this current location, and that they really liked this location, because it’s more spacious for everyone, including customer parking! The food was really good and well priced for the serving size! Just the only thing I was shocked about, was soda for $2.00, whereas the bottles of Gatorade/Snapple were $2.75, but it was all worth it! Highly recommend! I definitely will be back when visiting this side of Cali!!!!”

“This was my husband and I's first visit to this casino, and of course, our first time dining here too. The host was really friendly, and the servers were super nice and attentive. “A bit pricey for what you get, but they take walk-ins. The barber down the street, Valley Barbers, does not. No music playing when we got here and only one worker with her little son running around. There are three barber chairs and place was clean. There was a TV but it wasn't on. Very quiet in there. Nice and cool. Norma is awesome and very nice. She is quick and efficient. They do fades, trims, color, you name it. Give them a call to make an appointment”

“Accessibility: there are disabled parking spots available and the parking lot is all paved. The parking lot into the store are all flat ground, and the door to enter is a single push door. Experience: a really neat gift shop where you can find all things local and handmade! There are candles, clothes for kids and babies, blankets, pizza cutters shaped like bicycles, wind chimes, coasters for cups, wood and metal earrings, necklaces, bracelets, mugs, honey, jams, live flowers, book, so many things! Every direction you turn there are so many things to look at! Everything is so beautiful and made locally. The prices are a bit higher but again, that's because everything is made individually and in high quality. I love this store and the woman who was working today is super friendly and will answer all your questions! I will be back.”

“@AngelMorales - thank you for sharing your story of your child on spectrum. I had a similar experience. My boy diagnosed with level 2 autism non verbal was in a similar situation , he started attending around age 2 - they basically said he needed one on one attention.So we pulled him same day and 2 week notice was waived. It’s tough with having a child on spectrum. I really hope to see them accept your child back into program. Maybe learning jungle could use more training on children with special needs such as Autism. There’s not a whole lot of options in Valley Center, so I really hope learning jungle can find a way to meet the needs of all our children in Valley Center.”

“Overall a great experience with SoCalMiniPigs. Me and my family visited their farm around July 2023 and there was no shortage of little piggies running around🥰. That trip only sealed my decision to get my very own mini. Once I saw the one I wanted Sandra was very quick to respond and put her on hold for me. “I've never attended a service, but have been there for other activities. Just wanted to let newcomers about how to get there and be safe driver. Despite its address on Lake Wohlford Road, the parking lot is on Rosebush Lane (follow the sign). After you make the curve to the left on Rosebush, the hill is EXTREMELY steep. I wouldn't recommend driving a stick shift on this hill, unless you're a absolute expert. If you have to stop quickly, you might get stuck--or worse! And it certainly isn't good for the clutch. Everyone should watch for cars exiting the parking lot onto the road, as they can be hard to see. Kids and other pedestrians before & after services might be a hazard as well. PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL ON THE HILL!! (I gave 5 stars so it wouldn't affect the existing rating.)”
