“I did the Temperance Tasting with a friend, and we were blown out of the water by the friendliness of the staff, the delicious cocktails, and the amount we got. Highly recommend for $40! It was so fun “mixing” drinks like gin cocktails, sparkling wine, and espresso martinis without the hangover or the hurt the next morning. We felt amazing! Natasha was a wonderful hostess. Definitely come by to this gem.”

“Awesome building staff and great services offered! I was so pleasantly surprised by walking into this beautiful building on 101 Grove street in Civic Center Area. It’s on the corner of Grove and Polk street. The nice woman and man to the left in room 100 were soo sweet to offer me a mask and take the time out of their work to get me a mask from the closet just minutes before closing. I had to get some documents from window 5 and all the staff at this window were amazing as well. Thank You to the Staff whom helped me I don’t remember the first woman’s name but I did remember Susanna who was soo pleasant and helpful and David whom was patient and kind to wait for me as I was there last minute both times I had to pick up and drop off paperwork. Besides some of the 1235 Mission Employees, these are the best government employees I’ve ever dealt with. They were professional, competent and took the time to help me fill out a form that I wasn’t sure how to fill out and told me what I needed to do to get a certain document I needed for my health. They also have a window for getting ones birth certificates and all sorts of good info! I also found it great how clean and gorgeous the building was including the bathroom. I very much appreciated the whole experience I had at 101 Grove Street and recommend going in and getting help at the San Francisco office of Vital Records building. They even have a federal MMJ card to help people pay for their medicinal products once they get the card. I believe it qualifies people for the compassion program so people can get free and/or discounted meds! This is the only way to do it legally and it’s federal too. Takes the worry away for me about being a patient with certain medical needs. Now I feel completely legal and more comfortable purchasing what I need for my PTSD. Thanks again to all the workers. Special shout out to Room 101(thanks for getting me a mask-as masks are needed in this building) and big big shout out to David! He was so kind and patient and helpful! I really appreciate how competent, knowledgeable, professional and patient DAVID was with me. Thank you for hiring great people like David and Susanna (and the other woman working with David the first time i went to window 5). She like all the employees listed were great at 101 Grove Street! Not one complain. Thank you all again! I appreciate people David and Susanna and all the city workers that are working hard during Covid to be in service to mankind and help others! Take Care and God Bless! Thanks again and Stay Safe!”

“Dr. Acharya is one of the most caring opthalmologists I have ever met. She is knowledgeable, courteous, and truly gives each patient her undivided attention. I feel so fortunate to have had her care for my son. I have never met a doctor who was as truly devoted to the well-being of her patients and to preserving their vision as she is. She is an extremely rare gem among eye physicians.”

“Yes. It's hard and competitive. It does prepare you for college. (In fact, college felt easy compared to Lowell.) Be humbled, knowing you won't always be the best at something. I've made lifelong friends there and happy to be a graduate from Lowell. (Perspective from the early 2000s....not recently.)”

“In 2015 I had 1 accident. Rear ended someone, both at a complete stop, nothing major. First accident in 23 years. Now my hubby did have a few wrecks, between 2014-2019. Obly 1 was his fault, other 3 that were not. Hit us hard. Car insurance went from $120 a month to$326. Ouch!! We actually paid that rate for a year. Then I got mad and started looking around. I dread those forms. I filled out a couple and immediately phone starts ringing. Gabi was the only one who sent email and let me call them. And the estimate I got online, was within dollars of what they quoted. Most bait you in with some low online quote, then considerably higher once you speak with them. My savings is $2400 a YEAR. We are paying less than what we did before any of those wrecks. When I called my old company to cancel, she offered to attempt to match it, so as to not lose our business. When I told her the rate she said I was getting an intro rate. Told me it would triple in 6 months. (Admittedly I was worried about this) Well it’s my first renewal, as we opted for paying every 6 months. Premium increased $2.60. Yes, a mere $2.60. That’s a bit under triple!! Lol. Never had to use the insurance so I cannot review that portion but the price is quite awesome!! And Gabi does not drive you bananas with incessant phone calls.”

“Awesome place. When we arrived at the club there were two DJs playing. one DJ put on good music and the other terrible. cocktail prices are a little high $15 for a margarita. if you want to put your jacket in the cloakroom you will pay $5 for it.”

“My husband and I have been attending Canvas since 2017. We love Canvas because of their focus on social justice and making a tangible impact in the community. Pastor Travis was preaching about Black Lives Matter before the national reckoning in 2020. Each sermon makes me laugh and then nearly brings me to tears. Everyone is friendly, and we've met some great friends through our Rooted Group. We now live in Marin, but we still make the drive to church on Sunday. Canvas is the real deal!”

“Super filling and great value. The bread is thin but still crunchy and soft. Love how they're super generous with the meat and veggies unlike some other places that fill you up on just bread.”
