“After walking past a couple of rather pretentious looking venues along the road, we put all our eggs in one basket in hoping Beachside would be the place for brunch - and it was spot on! Delicious food, and fabulous coffee. Lovely staff to boot. A great place to start before taking on a walk around Golden Gate Park.”

“Stopped in for a coffee and to work on/edit my Seattle episode videos. And when I went for a refill...the barista bought it for me. He is one of the many humans with wings that I encounter and post about every single day. There's so much love out here among us humans. It's people like him that make my journey what it is....full of peace n love :)”

“I absolutely love this hip little coffee house in the Outer Sunset and try to swing by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. the baristas know their stuff, and the baked goods are delicious. Try not to be intimidated by the lines, they move quickly and the coffee is worth it. Don't pass up the opportunity to try their signature drink: the Snowy Plover, named for one of the species of birds that can be found on the beaches just a few blocks away.”

“This attraction is tucked away behind the Cliff House at Lands End. You won’t find it unless you’re looking. It is worth spending $3 on the admission fee to see the spectacular projection inside. The person manning the ticket counter also gives an explanation of how the mechanism works and is happy to answer any questions. I heartily recommend this one.”

“This was a great find on Treasure Island outside San Francisco. We stopped in for a wine tasting and it was only $10 to try 5 different ones with good pours. They also offered crackers on the bar top. Then, if you buy a bottle, they wave one tasting cost! So well worth a visit and a purchase of a wine! One of the wine makers was there and he was friendly and happy to answer our questions.”

“Not sure if it’s the same owners, they’re now called “Soap Box Cleaners”. They’re great! Super friendly, upfront about prices and how long things will take. They texted me when my dry cleaning and wash/fold items were ready for pick up. So happy I found them! BTW - wash/fold takes 2-3 days, but the price is suuuuper reasonable (I believe it was $1.4/pound)”
