Bicycle store Store

“Stopped by for a quick (and free) air refill for my back tire and was helped promptly and warmly by the nicest employee. They checked in on how my day was going and how my ride was. They asked several questions about my tire pressure preference before topping off both my tires. Super friendly and knowledgable. They also helped my friend pick out, try on, and purchase a new helmet and assisted with a military discount. Will return again for the customer service alone!”

San Francyclo

Address: 746 Arguello Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA

Bicycle store Store

“It’s been a minute since I got my bike repaired here with Jason the owner but I’m heading there again to get some new things done and wanted to add a glowing review. My bike was pretty thrashed and after two visits to the box stores for repair neither could get it done. Jason took it in and in two days it was literally better than new! The cranks was so tight, brakes and gears worked perfectly. I originally had sticker shock when he gave me the estimate but after getting it back I would have paid double to have my beloved bike back in this mint condition.”

Paragon Fit Studio

Address: 7 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA

Bicycle store Store

“I went to Paragon Fit Studio for my first-ever bike fit. A friend highly recommended Brian, and I could not be more thankful that he did. At first, I was slightly intimidated, not being a regular cyclist fit. But I'm happy to report the session was highly informative and entertaining. I immediately felt and saw the difference in Brian's tweaks to my bike, shoe cleats, and saddle. Brian is an expert at his craft; he's excellent at explaining precisely what he's adjusting on each iteration and why. Following the appointment, later that week, I went for a 40-mile ride and can report that the issues I felt before the bike fitting was extinguished. I felt balanced and more confident on the bike, both in and out of the saddle. I highly recommend working with Brian at Paragon Fit Studio to get a fit for beginners getting into or back into cycling, those who just got a new bike (like me), or veteran cyclists.”

The New Wheel Electric Bikes

Address: 420 Cortland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA

Bicycle store Store

“I just purchased my second Benno Boost e-bike from the New Wheel to replace the first one that was stolen. The New Wheel is top notch in every way, which is why I chose to spend my money there not once, but twice. From super helpful and friendly sales staff to competent and quick service by high quality mechanics, every one of my numerous interactions with the New Wheel has been nothing but positive. As a member of the cycling industry, I have spent lots of time in bike shops. The thing I like most about The New Wheel is it's run like a modern business: great communication and a focus on customer service. They are setting an example of what a bike shop should be.”

The Bike Hut

Address: 40 Pier Suite #15, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA

Bicycle store Store

“Today, was my first visit to The Bike Hut but it definitely won’t be my last. Located at Pier 40 (South Beach Harbor) on the Embarcadero is a literal hut, painted yellow with a large sign that says The Bike Hut. Great thing about this location is that parking is available if your traveling from a distance and need to transport your bicycle via car. It’s a fairly large parking lot with over thirty (30) available spaces. The Bike Hut is open Wednesday - Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm normally, but the adjusted hours due to COVID-19 is now Wednesday - Sunday from 12 pm (noon) - 5 pm. It’s best to call first! The repair technician can provide a heads up on how busy they are. When I took my Pure Fix bike to be fixed because of a busted inter-tube, the repair technician told me specially when to come. In addition to repairing bicycles, The Bike Hut has a 501(c)3 Non Profit youth training and recycling program. This is a great opportunity to give back or donate gently used / wear bicycles. It’s only fitting that The Bike Hut offers “bicycle rentals, sales, and repairs.” Lastly, the best thing about The Bike Hut is that they accept “commuter checks,” for payment. I had a great experience and would highly recommend.”

Roaring Mouse Cycles

Address: 934 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94129, USA

“Highly recommend this shop. Chris and his team helped me with warrantying a Cervelo frame that had fractured at the chain stay. They were nothing but patient, and helpful throughout the entirety of the convoluted process. Top rate customer service, with good communication, expectation setting, and out come. By far the best bike shop I've seen in the Bay Area, and I've bought stuff from probably 8+ shops in SF and the peninsula.”
