“The great outdoors in the middle of the city. Super convenient, clean bathrooms and you can order pizza if the cookout is a fail. Hike down to Marshall Beach in the morning and catch a glorious sunset from Immigrant Outlook in the evening.”

“This was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon hiking with my best friend. We went on a Saturday afternoon in September. The sun was blazing which made it slightly uncomfortable, but we made it to one of the peaks in under an hour. At the trails beginning there are pretty nice public restrooms and water fountains. There is also a wonderful view and tons of picnic tables around there. When we were leaving there was a wedding happening next to this large old house at the beginning of the trail. I suggest you bring lots of water and good shoes.”

“A small park near the Bay Bridge. The key point of the attraction is the cupid’s span(a sculpture of a huge bow and arrow). I visited early in the morning, and the place was mostly filled with people going for jogging, walking with dogs and tourists. There are flower gardens and nice grass within the park. We could also acquire a splendid view of Bay Bridge from this spot. Nothing more to do within this park so just passing by seem to be reasonable. Entry fee: free Time of travel: October 2018”

“It's a gem of a park. They have a nice little dog play area. The path can connect to India Basin Park, with a cool history of the area along the path describing it from the late 1800s to now. Good place to see shorebirds. Also close to Bay Natives nursery. I hope the park doesn't get discovered by more people. Super nice and chill.”

“You can find a lot of California vegetation here (same climate as the Mediterranean) with the cover of big eucalyptus and pine trees. Some of the small trails leads to vantage points to the Fountain Plaza (to the south) where you can sit on benches.”

“A beautiful, peaceful, serene, magical, and memorable park. I absolutely love it here. Granted, I may not be playing at the playground so much anymore but, I still do go down the rock slide occasionally and swing on the swingset. I love taking a good book with me and sitting down on the sand by the lake water. It is soooo gorgeous and I love that it is secluded and quiet a majority of the time. This is one of my most favorite and magical places to be.”

“Amazing beautiful place. Dispute paying a fee to enter, which we were not expecting. I feel it was worth it. Although the weather wasn't great, the gardens and featured examples of Japanese cultured art and garden features were the perfect setting to unwind after taking in the busy San Francisco city. The small but providing a awesome selection of fresh teas and other treats that we couldn't resist. All at a reasonable price with a fantastic staff serving.”

“It's still a new garden and it will take several years to one or two decades to get to it's potential. However this is a unique opportunity to see the making of a garden and look at the plants (trees) when they are young. If you are a San Francisco resident that can be awesome to come and check this garden every year/s (especially with children).”

“Inside the Golden Gate Park these falls along with the Lake and the boat rentals is something I recommend as a must destination in San Francisco. People wull be surprised every time they go to the Golden Gate Park just like I am. I always find sometging new, I love bringing my teen daughters here for a day with "dad" There is plenty of parking next to the lake, just have to look for it. Enjoy.”

“Great little hike up a small hill to great views of the city. The hill used to have a building on it from the world's fair and you can still see remnants of the foundation. There's a pretty long trail going all the way around it if you want a pretty walk, or go strait up or down by using the stairs at the waterfall. There are two bridges on each side of the hill to get up to it. Be sure to check out the waterfall too if you're here.”
