“I love the dyslexia program they offered my daughter. The program and the teachers involved really helped my daughter in many ways but mostly improved her reading drastically. I really admired how involved the school was in getting my daughter the help she needed and for that I am very grateful.”

“If you want fresh hot food ... that taste good ... you hit them up. Nothing on this strip, as far as fast food can touch this location. They never disappoint. The customer service is great! I can't trust any other place in this area that makes fast food, to come through period but this location. They are second to NONE. Seriously. You pay for what you get here!”

“Amazing school full of great teachers and principal. Lots of UCSF employees kids, along with neighborhood kids make up the student population here. High Math and Science scores here, so your child to be learning with kids that are smart and love to learn. They keep the class sizes small so that teachers really get to know their students. Many end up at Lowell afterwards for High School. This is a K-8 school.”

“Sanchez Elementary School is a wonderful little gem hidden in the SFUSD school system. Teachers are engaged and thoughtful. The principal is doing good work and helps not just to teach the basics, but to help kids understand life lessons and WHY you should do good things for other people. The school is incredibly diverse and they do their best to celebrate said diversity at every turn. My daughter has learned a great deal of humility and is able to now, effectively, reflect on her own socio-economic status and relate to her classmates.”

“I can't speak highly enough of Mark at Balboa Guitars. I had him install a new bone nut and saddle in my Gibson J-15 acoustic and the work is beautiful. He's a really genuine guy and took the time to discuss the work and answer all my questions. I'll be back soon with more guitars for him to work on. Great shop!”

“The stuff is friendly and very professional, the Doctor very knowledgeable and they take most insurance. The office is clean and larger than it appears from the outside of the building. I definitely found my new doctor.”

“The school is excellent! We love having our toddler in this brand new neighborhood center and the organization is very organized and structured in their procedures. Staff and teachers are communicative and caring. My guy is learning a lot through play based education and has a ton of fun in his new school! We were at first concerned at a lack of an attached play yard but the kids spend a lot of time outdoors in neighborhood parks and gardens and I've never seen any centers with as much light filled indoor space as this facility! The classrooms are massive and there is a separate indoor gross motor skills play room, perfect for rainy/smoky days. Pricing is typical San Francisco childcare eye popping, but on par with equivalent centers in the area”

“As an STA alumnae (Class of '72), I was delighted (and not at all surprised) to read such wonderful reviews of the school. I attended St. Thomas for 8 years, and I received an excellent education. Keep up the great work, STA! With respect and gratitude, Maureen DeVoe ('64-'72)”

“Bronwen is a profound CranioSacral bodyworker and I consider her a masterful healer. Her knowledge of the anatomy from massage and yoga training add to the depth and sensitivity of touch. Her ability to listen to the complexity or vagueness of my concerns, address them simultaneously and enable me to leave sessions feeling whole every time is magical. It’s been a joy to work closely with her as a colleague and client over 4 years. Be prepared to experience life shifts and enhanced awareness of yourself on her table and in the integration time after.”

“Dedicated, caring staff in a supportive, rich learning environment, our daughter has really opened up to other children and made some lifelong friends, all while developing her German skills. What an incredible development for the neighborhood to have such a positive learning environment in what has been a neglected and dangerous neighborhood playground!”
