Don't miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime flower experience now that the superbloom is upon us this spring in 2019

Remote but beautiful, it's worth taking a few hours to drive through especially in Spring.
It's also one of the best places to really see the San Andreas fault. The road turns to dirt in many places so I would keep an eye on the weather if you don't have AWD or 4WD.
There is camping here but it's not very well marked.

It's Sunday. The March 30th, 2019, the flowers are at super bloom stage in the Carrizo Plain National Monument. The super bloom will continued to bloom in the next 2 weeks. Hopefully, they will last till 04-15-2019. Bring your families, friends, and lovers to the National park. Thank you for the rain from the last winter. It's an excellent place for everyone. It's a vast place and full of natural colors.
Bring your lunch and have a picnic with your love one.

You want open space in crowded California? This place has it. The road was not bad. We saw one other person. A fellow traveler. Beautiful wide open spaces. Very few buildings.
