“I’ve been working out regularly for about 10 years. I’ve been to all types of gyms and Bay Area Boxing is definitely my favorite. They have an amazing and accessible owner, Jake. He is willing to help you in any way, from developing workouts to spotting you if your gym partner stood you up. The instructors are also exceptional, they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of classes throughout the day which are all fun, exciting, and challenging. I don’t feel out of place like I’m just going to the gym as a chore, I feel like I’m going to workout with friends because the members are equally kind and respectful. If you are at all interested in martial arts, weightlifting, or just an intense cardio workout, I highly recommend Bay Area Boxing.”

“I'm in the market for an apartment to rent. I was referred to Janet because i had heard about a listing she had in Belmont. I didn't get the apartment, however Janet did accommodate my wife and my schedule by agreeing to meet us to show us the apartment late in the evening. As a customer service standpoint i felt she went above and beyond and we really appreciated that, something you don't get in business on a day to day basis. I.E. we basically got shoved out of the Tmobile store after upgrading a phone and spending $70 on accessories because it was the 9:00 "closing time". I love the mom and pop feel of Hometown and i hope these kind of business will thrive in our country. p.s. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful”

“OMG - best Italian food I've ever had. I ate dishes I thought I would never have. There were eight of us. We enjoyed a few before main course appetizers. The baby octopus - unbelievable. The grilled calamari - awesome. I'm not a sea food person so I took one of each because I knew I wasn't going to like it. I went back in for seconds. Everything, appetizers, main course and desserts were AWESOME. Highly, highly recommend. Worth the price. I will go again.”

“Really appreciating Dr Alfred Sung today when, as I was passing through the area, I needed an adjustment badly. Occasional chiropractic care is a must for me, and it had been a while my right hip stopped being able to extend, making my walk difficult. For days, my left ribs felt out of place. Dr Dung was able to see me, so I headed to the office. His space was organized and easy to find. He's a consummate professional, professional, it turns out. Not only a chiropractor, but a martial arts instructor in three different arts. Let me tell you - that's like speaking multiple languages, not to mention the valuable skillset of being an effective teacher. And more - but you'll have to check out his wall of credentials yourself. His assessment of my pain was thorough and I felt comprehensively listened to. His treatment helped reduce muscular tension and inflammation, and the adjustments themselves were... let's say... a huge relief. I'm really glad I went. I would definitely go back - if I lived in the area. I joked to Dr Sung, "I'll have to move here!" If your hips, back, or neck are in trouble and you'd like to move better again. Dr Sung is a skillful and compassionate resource.”
