“It's a bit small but they use the space well and there's a good variety of climbs. Taking off 1 star because I think coaches/staff can be a bit more attentive when they're teaching classes with young kids. Too many times a kid will run under a climber and it creates a potentially bad situation for everybody.”

“I’ve been working out regularly for about 10 years. I’ve been to all types of gyms and Bay Area Boxing is definitely my favorite. They have an amazing and accessible owner, Jake. He is willing to help you in any way, from developing workouts to spotting you if your gym partner stood you up. The instructors are also exceptional, they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of classes throughout the day which are all fun, exciting, and challenging. I don’t feel out of place like I’m just going to the gym as a chore, I feel like I’m going to workout with friends because the members are equally kind and respectful. If you are at all interested in martial arts, weightlifting, or just an intense cardio workout, I highly recommend Bay Area Boxing.”
