After working with Menlo Park City Planning Department on two major home remodels, my contractor and I can not overstate the professionalism of Menlo Park Planning Department (which is both the heart and future of a city) . Some years ago I was in Starbucks in Sharon Heights and found myself talking to the people at the next table. The couple was trying to decide which of two properties to buy that day. I asked which city(s) were involved. I was told Palo Alto and Menlo Park. I told them that the choice was a 'no brainer!" I have several friends from Palo Alto who have relaided horror stories to me of how the Planning department worked. The City of Menlo Park employees remember 'who pays their salary'- the taxpayer. I have found in the past 18 years it is a joy to live in Menlo Park. NB: I personally am not impacted by FaceBook and all the positives and negatives the city is experiencing from the company moving here”

“Excellent school! I attended in the 60s when it was Catholic, and I applaud them for being all inclusive today.. I graduated when the school was a quiet and safe. Enough to play and wait outside for moms to pick us up. I went on to Los Altos high school where we live and graduated from there and then Mills College. Nativity provided us with a disciplined environment to learn. Hurray it appears to have maintained those high standards and values after 50+ years ????❤️!”
