(February 10, 2019, 11:26 pm)Gotta visit if you are staying on the peninsula. A short hike to the tree. There are other hikes that go into this fine second growth forest. It’s s good break from the city. Drive carefully please.
(January 21, 2019, 1:43 am)The pictures do not do it justice. I don’t know why people are posting them; one should come see this thing in person. The tree is ANCIENT and MASSIVE. It is mind-blowing to look at and you will be in awe of how big it is, and in your imagination of how long that tree has been standing there.

(June 19, 2018, 2:25 am)This tree deserves nothing less than 5 stars. It was a sight to behold! I half thought, well it's a tree,so we'll see. Probably won't be a big deal. Bot was I wrong! It is incredibly impressive. Amazing to be able to see something living that is so old and beautiful. Truly magnificent and worth a visit.
