A beautiful spiralling trip down to a calm place filled with tall Redwood trees, Bay trees, birds and brooks leaves you physically exhausted but mentally satisfied.
Easy to reach. Small 6 to 7 car lot near entrance. Maybe more further in, didn't check. Moderate 1.6 mile hike in covered shaded landscape. Dog friendly.
This place is great for a less strenuous hike. Lots of shade. Not many views, but it's nice and not too crowded. My pup loved hiking there too. The roundtrip hike is only about 3 miles. There are no trash cans or bathrooms, but parking lot is rarely crowded.
A quiet place to hike with dogs in the redwoods. Running water after rains along Dennis Martin Creek. Small preserve, two short trails. Dogs on leash and pick up after your four legged friends, this trail is by a creek!
