“Dr Zhou is super professional and compassionate! My first delivery was with another OB and it was a nightmare, I was in active contraction for 35 hrs in the El Camino hospital and 9.5cm dilation(for some reason, even the Epi didn't work on me), but finally got to emergency C section, after I was released from the hospital, I got wound infection and took long time to recover. I was so traumatized that prevented me from having another baby for over 6 years. Until I met Dr Zhou, she understood my worries and concerns easily. She read my medical history carefully and assured me that she wouldn't let me suffer both delivery pains again, and explained her plans in detail patiently. I had tears in my eyes to be really heard and being taken care of physically and emotionally. Under her direction, I got confidence back to try on VBAC even with pregnancy diabetes. During the last couple weeks of pregnancy, she evaluated me again and we both agreed on scheduled C section due to my complications. She calls me day and night to check on me when I had false contractions. She makes wise decisions on when to go to hospital and when to wait at home. She is the one to operate the surgery and partnered with another great OB Dr Xie. She is so professional with the surgery I recovered very well and so quick amazingly. I had no infections, no shaking, even not much pain after the surgery. The wound looks beautiful. I couldn't imagine the whole process can be so easy on me this time and it healed my ptsd on delivery. I can't be more grateful with Dr Zhou. She is really knowledgeable, experienced, and you can totally rely on her. Hope more moms can benefit from Dr Zhou with less stress for recovery and more joys bonding babies!”

“I have been coming to see Dr. Colgin for about 15 years now. My 4,3, and 18-month-old also enjoy getting adjusted. My aunt even comes from San Diego to get adjusted from Dr. Colgin. I wish I could give him 10 stars. I’ve had chronic back and neck problems for years and he is the only one that I will let adjust me and has helped me move forward without medication. He takes time to get to know what your problems might be an adjusts accordingly. I am not sure what I would do without him. If you want to feel better get adjusted by Dr. Colgin. “Great community, Great coaches, and Great space. ASP has a huge facility with all the equipment you need to get stronger. Love the huge turf field inside. The coaches are the best. They have a great understanding of programming and take injury prevention seriously. They also facilitate a really close-knit community that's a ton of fun to be a part of. There are fun events throughout the year for members--annual fitness competitions, Christmas potlucks, etc... My personal favorite are the group classes, but they also offer 1-on-1 coaching/training if you want a little more personalized programming and goal-setting as well as youth athlete strength/conditioning to improve performance and decrease injury risk for the kiddos. They also have onsite Physical Therapy services (called Stronger PT) and members get discounted rates.”

“Dr. Swe has been my dentist for about 5 or 6 years now and I plan to stay with him. He's very personable, remembers personal details to build rapport, and is very thorough. I personally like it when my dentist cleans my teeth rather than have a dental hygienist. I couldn't make it to a cleaning (I live in Sac area now but go to do cleanings twice a year when I'm in the bay visiting family) once and went to some dentist in Orangevale. I was NOT impressed with that dentist who did NO examinations, had a dental hygienist clean my teeth, took an xray and immediately told me just based on the xray that I needed a crown. I asked him about it and he said it was probably recommended due to the large filling I had in the past, but I should see a specialist to make sure I didn't need a root canal as well. Dr. Swe is very thorough and really takes his time. He will do yearly xrays to make sure your teeth are doing ok. He then counts the gum pocket depth each time (I've not had a dentist do it every time), then uses the drill to remove the hard plaques, then uses hand tools to pick out the other plaques. He then flosses, then polishes your teeth. He then sends you home with a goodie bag- toothbrush, toothpaste & floss. When I had invisalign, he gave me advice & tips on what to ask my orthodontist. When I had my wedding, he gave me teeth whitening tips. Now that I'm done with invisalign & my permanent retainers are cracking bc I clench my teeth hard, he helped me get a new mould done (fit me in on his lunch schedule since I mentioned it during the visit) + order the new set for me. Saved me a trip to the orthodontist! Overall, super helpful and explains things very well. He is also very considerate of a patient's finances- he always checks your insurance first to make sure you don't get out of pocket expenses. And since I am out of town, they send me reminders twice a year for cleanings and works with fitting me into the schedule. His office is taking covid very seriously- sanitizing, keeping only 1 patient in the office/ waiting area at one time (you have to call to ask if it's ok to go in- there's a # at the door).”
